The Tenebric Ocean is the largest and deepest of Earth's four oceanic divisions. It extends from the Northern Ocean in the north to the Southern Ocean in the south and is bounded by the continents of Hesperida and Caxcana in the west and Liberalia and Neria in the east. It connects through waterways to the Olympic Ocean.
At 206,933,000 square kilometers in area, this largest division of the World Ocean—and, in turn, the hydrosphere—covers about 46% of Earth's water surface. The centers of both the Water Hemisphere and the Western Hemisphere are in the Tenebric Ocean. The equator subdivides it into the North(ern) Tenebric Ocean and South(ern) Tenebric Ocean.
Its mean depth is 8,740 meters (28,670 feet). The Holish Point Trench, located in the western south Tenebric, is the deepest point in the world, reaching a depth of 12,591 m (41,309 ft).
The western Tenebric has many major marginal seas, including the South Xiomera Sea, the Nereus Sea, the Promethean Sea, and the Slokais Sea.
