History[edit | edit source]

The Alejandro Vasquez School was founded in 1804 in San Fernando as the San Fernando Officer's Academy. The first students were those who wished to become officers of the Costenan Empire. Eventually, as enrollment grew the institution moved to a site in rural Valleres Province located not far from the new provincial capital of San Sabla. In 1868, the Alejandro Vasquez School expanded in size to educate all officers of the Armed Forces of the Dominion of Slokais. With this new barracks and classrooms were built as well as the Lyman Fieldhouse for rife performances and football matches of the Alejandro Vasquez Knights. In 1887 students of the school were called into service for the Dominion of Slokais to put down revolutionaries during the Slokasian War of Independence. These students were often more heroic than their comrades gaining students the nickname "Red Knights of Hell". Eventually, the school was converted into a prison for high-ranking prisoners by the new government of Slokais in 1896. A courthouse was built on campus with the Supreme Court of Slokais being in residence until 1901. Classes resumed in 1900, although enrollment was limited with a new standard military academy being opened in Pyror's Point, South San Fernando.
