Soltierra Rum is a major Aredoan company producing rum and other rum-based beverages. Founded in Vahania in 1782 during the colonial period, it is the most prominent producer of iconic Aredoan rum and exports its many products worldwide.
Production[edit | edit source]
Soltierra's production process begins with the cultivation of sugarcane, which is harvested at peak ripeness and then used to produce molasses. This molasses is then fermented before undergoing double distillation in column stills. The distilled product is aged in oak barrels, maturing at a fast rate due to the tropical climate but losing quite a large portion of the product to the angels' share. After aging, the rum is blended and infused with spices, depending on the particular product, before being bottled and shipped to vendors.

Soltierra produces five standard bottles of rum, as well as having three labels with several variants such as flavoured and pre-mixed drinks. Its best-selling product is the Soltierra Blanco.
