Ignazio Di Carlo is the 12th President of Tuscia, having been elected in 2020 and re-elected in 2024. Born October 16th, 1959 in Ufagozi, Di Carlo was a failed economist and a restaurant worker before entering politics to challenge a local tax on restaurants. Di Carlo served in the regional Major Consiglo from 1987 to 1996, a period of political upheaval in the city as extremist neo-radical's targeted several sites and the city became plagued with corruption. Di Carlo was eventually voted to represent the Ufagozi 10th in the national Senati. A role he would serve in for the next two decades. Additionally he served on the Major Consiglo and helped elect multiple President's. In 2020, he would be nominated by the Movimiente Democratica as well as Azione Soicale to become President, an election he won after three rounds. In 2024, he would be re-elected due to his broad popularity. Di Carlo has been described as a political moderate and an effective President, by balancing the budget, investing in green energy and presiding over a fairly stable economy.
