Orléans is a district in the Outer Orléania region of Larton. The district is the second most populous of Larton, and the 9th-most populous district in Wosteaque. It is bordered by Stade to the west, Nogent to the north and Placitre to the east. In the 2020 census, the district had a population of 7,812,000. Saint Chloé is the district's capital and Compiègne is its largest city. Orléans, along with Bourbon and Créon are the only Wosteaquean districts with political subdivisions called parishes.
Geography
Orléans is situated at the convergence of the Antgief River and the Loneau Bay, with most of it's land only being above sea level by a couple of meters.
Flora and fauna
Orléans has 39 mammal species, 214 birds, 43 reptiles, and 37 amphibians species. Notable animals include the great Wosteaquean alligator, Lartonese macaque, and the Ruddlioean large salamander.
Climate
The area around the Antgief River System is classified as humid subtropical climate by the Carla-Geoffroy climate classification system, while the rest of the district is classified as oceanic climate.
