Eastern Isles (Paiwanese: Lǜ lán dǎng), is a province of Slokais Islands. The province was established in 1973 and is the newest province in Slokais and consists of 5 major islands and almost 60 smaller ones. The islands are divided into two areas the Saint's Isles and Saroah Isles the two are separated by hundreds of miles of water making it technically the largest including water area, although one of the smallest by land area.

History

The Eastern Isles are believed to have been formed around 5 million years ago and consist of two separate chains of islands with the Saroah Isles being smaller and less volcanically active. The islands were settled 20,000 years ago by the descendants of the original settlers of Slokais, developing their own unique culture. Eventually, each major island developed its own tribal group, culturally and linguistically distinct from each other.
