Helionexus Energies PLC. (commonly known as Helionexus) is a Legionite photovoltaics company, and major manufacturer of photovoltaic cells, solar panels and a developer of utility-scale PV power projects. The company was founded in 1999 in Vertmere by Josiah Meraye, a Legionite Investor and entrepreneur in collaboration with Oscar Ermest, a Legionite engineer and entrepreneur.
In 2006 the company went public, trading on the Bayview Stock Exchange. It's current chairman is Walter Ankrav, who succeeded Meraye in 2018 following his retirement and occupation of a non-executive board position. Helionexus operations are based in Vertmere, Legionas.
Helionexus is considered as one of the trailblazers in advancing new innovations in the photovoltaics sector, with it garnering the reputation as the company producing some of the most energy-efficient solar panels on the market, and it has profited massively off the global shift towards more renewable sources of energy, allowing it to oversee half a decade of impressive growth and robust expansion in operations, from 2014-2019, as well as acquisition of Schilde Solar (an emerging manufacturer of monocrystalline silicon wafers and necessary in the production of solar panels) and Menerso Technologies (a former leader in the manufacture of advanced energy storage systems that was riddled in debt and teetering dangerously close to insolvency) allowing the company to lower manufacturing costs through less dependence on the market for necessary components.
Helionexus has partnered with the Legionite government in a series of Public-Private Partnerships in the energy sector, such as in the construction of the Andota I, II and III Solar Parks, with a combined installed capacity of 428 megawatts, in the Greni Region, which Helionexus operates, as well as the Aegir Sea Offshore Solar Farms (ASOSF) project that is currently under construction and is expected to inject an additional 260 megawatts into the Legionite energy grid and power approximately 225,000 homes within the Heski Region fully on renewable energy.
