The beach spider (Arena litore) is a species of spider located in the districts of Elmhan, Kizizar, Mühllohn, and the independent city of Zlento, in the republic of Frésir, Wosteaque. It is the district spider of Mühllohn, and on the emblem of the National Arachnology Museum in Zlento.
Description
The beach spider is a medium sized spider with the average size about six cm. The beach spider gets its name from its habitat, the beach, although it can live near any body of water. It is a tan color and may have light brown spots on its legs.
Ecology
Habitat
The beach spider's main habitat is coastline, either the ocean or freshwater, where it burrows in the sand. The spider makes small dens in the sand where it hides when it is not hunting.
Diet
The spider eats mainly insects, although small amphibians are also preyed upon.
Predators
The main predators of the beach spider are birds, crabs, larger spiders and lizards.
