The Lauchenoirian peso (symbol: $; code: LAP) is the official currency of Lauchenoiria. The peso is divided into 100 centavos. One peso is worth approximately 0.056 Sanctarian pounds.
The peso was reintroduced as the currency of Lauchenoiria during the democratisation period in 1993 following the end of the communist dictatorship. Between 1952 and 1993 during the communist regime, currency in the country became complicated with the abolition of the pre-revolution peso; however during democratisation in 1993 the peso was reintroduced.
