The Daryan-Costenan War was a military conflict which took place between 1877 and 1878 between the two rival empires of the Costenan Empire and Darya, which resulted in a Daryan victory, with Costeno losing several colonies either to Darya directly or through independence movements.

Background

Two years before the outbreak of the conflict, independence activists in the Costenan colony of Aredoa had been causing trouble for the Costenan imperial administration. With Costeno bogged down in Aredoa, it allowed Darya to take advantage of the situation and attack the Costenan colony of TBC.
