The 1937 Coup in Mansilla was an uprising coordinated by the ultranationalist Mansillan National Front against the Ferrera Dynasty and, by extension, Stephano X, the King of Mansilla at that time. Lasting from January to August of 1937, the coup, which was masterminded by one of Stephano's generals, Luca Brunelli, saw the end of the Ferrera Dynasty, the execution of the king, and the creation of the Constitutional 2nd Monarchy of Mansilla, which remains in power today.
