Holokovoy (Holhar: Холокоvоy, romanized: Holokovoy), officially the Republic of Holokovoy (Holhar: Егрегорностvар'н'Холокоvоy, romanized: Egregornostvar'n'Holokovoy), commonly called Holharhyu (Holhar: Холхархуù, romanized: Holharhyu) by natives, is a landlocked country located in western Hesperida, situated primarily in the norther portion of the Vale of the Kovoy. Holokovoy has about 17,5 million inhabitants. Vladekovor is enshrined in the constitution as the "governing capital" and houses the executive, with Rava'nad'Ruga being the seat of the legislature, and Galmanzar the seat of the judiciary, while Luciyanovharad is the largest city and cultural capital. The towns of Murathyu and Nad'Belzagh are recognised as "settlements with cultural-historical importance" and possess a degree of political autonomy equal to the others.

Its namesake, the Kovoy river, rises past the northern border of the country, in the Gregurian mountains and flows south, with half of its length being in Holokovoy. The Egorana and Vrhovar Ranges demarcate its eastern border, while the Orlozh and V'hobrana mountains, as well as the Zol and Had rivers, form the western one. The southern border runs through the Lake of the Dames.

Settlement in what is now Holokovoy began in the Paleolithic, with Holokovars inhabiting the region continuously since then. It would leave the Iron Age late compared to other states, with the advent of writing and the first super-tribal polity occuring in the 11th century, roughly coinciding with the spread of the Second Creed in the valley. This period would see the vale and surrounding regions come under the rule of the imperial Honstantan-Uhrazhdan dynasty, with a short interruption in succession during the Five-Headed Exarchate in the 13th century, until its conquest by nomadic tribes in 1423. The ensuing period of foreign subjugation, referred to as the Four Hundred Years' Struggle, would only come to a close with Valuvyah's Uprising in 1864, leading to ascendance of the Damyanozvyah dynasty under a feudal and then absolute monarchy. Under the reign of king Butemyr Honstantan ot'Damyanozvyah, growing popular dissatisfaction among mainly the peasantry would lead to the Holokovan Upheaval of 1947, with a gruelling civil war overtaking the country for 4 years, which culminated in the establishment of the authoritarian Vlast regime of Iozias Lazar Hostozvyah.
