In 2021 a book was released that revealed documents from this era because of the book the Barris family had to apologize for their actions. In 1971 they expanded to a chain of stores called Sun-Mart. These quickly expanded their empire and became a household name in the San Fernando area. By 1993 they had locations in every province and were one of the largest retail companies in the nation. In 1994 they went public on the New Liverpool Stock Exchange, soon they began to launch stores though the world. In 2002 they got into the transport industry with Sun Rail a network of trains in the San Fernando area, they also launched Sun Airways, however, the company fell after the industry was Nationalized. As of 2021, they are the 2nd largest employer behind the Govermeant itself. Today their biggest asset is Sun Mart followed by Sun Tech and Full Sun Real Estate. | |||
