The New Democratic Party, or the NDP is a political party in Zamastan. The party was founded in 2018 after the re-election of President Zacharias Castovia to counter the rising political prominence of the main political parties in Congressional Hall, specifically the BCP and the GLP. The ideology of the NDP caucus is composed mostly of left-centrists and progressives, with a small minority of conservative members. The party's philosophy of modern liberalism and social democracy advocates social justice, economic stimulation, easing taxes for lower class and raises for higher class, lessening the military budget, and expanding social services, health care, and scientific exploration.

Because they formed after the 2018 General Election, they have no sitting members of the 108th Congress in either the Congress Chamber or the Senate.
