Zerphique, officially known as the People's Republic of Zerphique is a Federal Semi-presidential democratic Republic located in the International Democratic Union on the continent of Hespia. With a population of roughly 19 million citizens, Zerphique stands as one of the smallest nations in the IDU. Zerphique's capital and oldest city New Horadam whereas its largest city is Leofer. Zerphique gained independence from the Federation of Legionas on the 30th of November 1973. It is bordered to the West by Iustos and to the North by the Bay of Kas, which separates the nation from Lauchenoiria, Comhar and Latidonia.

Zerphique was originally believed to have been settled by the Sānkhoen speakers, from the continent of Liberalia having traveled through the present day territory of Trive based on archaeological dating of associated artifacts and skeletal material found in the Okran Gorge which indicates their settlement as from between 3000 and 1700 BC. Other communities mostly from the neighboring continent of Catica as well as the lands further north of the Erqala isthmus continued to immigrate to present day Zerphiquean lands.
