Jonathan B. Porterfield was the fifth Premiere of Gladysynthia, elected from Zeramoa, who was in office from 1973-1980. His cabinet members, as well as his relatives and close friends, always described him as quite relaxed and laid-back, which was reflected well throughout his time in office. Prior to his Premiership, he received a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from a small university in suburban Heimdahli'ia and worked for several small companies before beginning his career as a politician. He is currently the oldest living president at 86 years old and lives with his wife, pet shark, and 31 cats in the their downtown condo in Zeramon.
