The 1937 Coup in Mansilla, known domestically as Lotta di Gennaio (English: January Revolution), was an uprising coordinated by the ultranationalist Mansillan National Front against the Ferrera Dynasty and, by extension, Stephano X, the then Monarch of Mansilla. Lasting from January to August of 1937, the coup, instigated by one Stephano's generals, Luca Brunelli, saw the end of the Ferrera Dynasty, the execution of Stephano, and the creation of the Constitutional Second Monarchy of Mansilla, which remains in power today.
