Razgriz, rising from the Nereus Sea, as depicted in the Movie "The Great Ones"

Razgriz is a legendary supernatural and mythical being from the folklore of the Telutci Tribes that inhabited Southern Legionas. It is believed to hold domain over the sea, being the leader of a yet unknown superior aquatic civilization , and the protector of sea creatures as well as sea vessels. It is believed to reside within the Nereus Sea, close to the Razgriz Strait which was named after it. The Telucti Folklore allude to Razgriz as a "Sleeping Demon" or a malevolent entity, hibernating within the deep recesses of the sea, who, close to the end of time, would rise up and engage in the Second Great Duel between it and its arch nemesis, Taheton, who holds domain over the sky.

Etymology[edit | edit source]

Description[edit | edit source]

It is described as a monster of vaguely anthropoid outline, but with an octopus-like head whose face is a mass of feelers, a scaly yet seemingly smooth and rubbery-looking body ,prodigious claws on hind and fore feet, and long, narrow wings behind. Razgris is said to have the ability to manipulate its own size to that roughly at the same size as an oil tanker, so as to be less visible to sailors. It's largest size is believed to be over 150 meters tall. It's head is believed to be that resembling the figure of a giant octopus, with an indiscernible amount of tentacles surrounding its mouth.
