The '''Baldridge Industries Type-85''', abbreviated to '''BI85''', is a closed-bolt gas-operated submachine gun developed for the [[Maximusian]] military and introduced into service in 1987. The firearm has since become synonymous with Maximusian special and counter insurgency operations. Since 1987, five variants of the BI85 have been introduced, including the BI85A3 (2012), which is chambered in 9x19mm rounds and the variant currently used in some capacity by all branches of the Maximusian military.
