The 2004 Bourlogne-Maribéliard tornado was a medium-sized tornado that struck two towns, Bourlogne and Maribéliard, on the morning of Tuesday, July 9. Part of a larger early-July tornado outbreak in the district of Momble, the category 3 tornado began just north of Bourlogne and intensified very quickly, reaching a maximum width of around 1,200 meters, during its path through the northern part of the city. The tornado tracked eastward through rural fields and farmland into the town of Maribéliard, where the tornado weakened, before it dissipated entirely.
