== History ==
Hussein Air Guard Base was built in 1990 as [[Site 12]], a research & development facility for the [[Joint Research & Development Service]], before being renovated in 2006, and transferred to the Frésirian Republican Air Guard.

During [[Exercise Silent Wind]], Hussein Air Guard Base took over the main duties of [[Vera Air Force Base]] while the base took part in the exercise.
