===Funerals===
Minjian teaches that death is not the end for a human soul and that those who die may join the Divine and the Luminaries in the afterlife. 
Funerals typically feature eulogies written by those who knew the deceased well, addressed to the Divine and to the patron Luminary of the deceased, asking for the deceased to be taken into the care of their divine patron. The body is then cremated, and the ashes buried.
