===Federal Legislature===

In the first elections held in Huenya in 2022, Xiadani ran for the Chamber of Deputies seat in Topexpec as a member of the [[Unification Party]]. She easily defeated opponents from eight other parties, winning just over 52 percent of the vote. Her campaign team used a mix of her wartime credentials and activist reputation to drive her campaign to victory.

During her tenure as a legislator, Xiadani quickly became a prominent leader in the Unification Party's conservative wing. She pushed for strong action against ethnic Xiomeran separatists, such as the Golden Blade insurgency. Xiadani wanted the Huenyan government to reclaim separatist territories by "any means or force necessary", even if it meant resuming the war with the Empire to do so.

Xiadani pushed for Huenya to lead the international opposition to the Xiomeran Empire via sanctions and military alliances. She also called for Huenya to shift the bulk of its military forces to the Huenyan border with Xiomera.
