== 2022 IDU Football Championship ==

The 2022 IDU Football Championship was hosted between August 22, 2022<ref>https://idugov.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=2361&pid=22724#pid22724</ref> and October 13, 2022 in [[Libertas Omnium Maximus]] across venues in four cities: [[Litudinem]], [[Iustitia City]], [[Lumeniola]], and [[Perra]]. Remarkably, despite two consecutive prior wins of the championship, [[Gnejs]] did not qualify for participation in the 2022 tournament. Due to an extreme late August heatwave which swept across the nation, with temperatures exceeding 34 °C (93 °F), a number of group stage matches were postponed to early September. None were cancelled. For the first time in IDUFC history, a third place consolation match was held between Laeral and Greater Acadia, with Laeral winning third place. Lauchenoiria defeated Xiomera in the final match, winning the tournament on October 13, 2022.
