=== Executive Order 6606 ===
Chancellor Tyler Garrity signed Executive Order 6606 which on March 2nd, 2013, a day after Garrity's inauguration, which effectively permitted the Chancellor to initiate and carry out military action domestically or abroad for up to 120 days without notifying or reporting to Parliament. On March 15th, Governor Christine Rivers, Attorney General Jennifer Hyde, and Ridgeway announced that Ventura would file a legal challenge against Chancellor Garrity, as well as relevant administrative secretaries, to overturn the order, arguing that it was a case of federal overreach in violation of the War Powers Act of 1999. 

On April 10, 2013, District Judge James Lawrence ruled in Ventura's favor for a temporary injunction into the order. The order was later overturned by the Mannenoisan Supreme Court 11-2. 

Hyde and Ridgeway received national press coverage for their work and is considered to be a leading reason why they were able to win election to the Ventura governor's mansion and the Mannenoisan House of Representatives, respectively. Additionally, the widespread backlash and negative media coverage is considered by experts to be major cause as to why Garrity and the Conservative Party lost their majority in the House of Representatives in the 2016 General Election.
