==Political career==

As a Member of Parliament, he championed an initiative to make all public transport accessible throughout Lauchenoiria, as his wife is a wheelchair user. 

He was also part of a cross-party group of MPs, including [[Josephine Alvarez]], who campaigned for increased animal protection measures. 

In 2014, he lost his seat in the federal parliament in the Liberal Party surge. He was elected to the Fleuran provincial parliament a year later, and became Deputy First Minister in a Liberal-SDP coalition. However the coalition collapsed when the SDP elected Cassidy Laurens as leader, who took a more confrontational approach to working with other parties. He remained as deputy first minister in the interim, but in January 2016 quit the SDP over their new confrontational stance. The Liberals and independent members formed a new coalition and he retained his post. 

In 2018, the Lauchenoirian unity government headed by [[Keitha Noguera]] appointed him Vice President, and he succeeded [[Kieran MacKenzie]] as President when MacKenzie resigned in October.
