==History==
===Early History===
In the late 20th century archaeologists have found human remains along with stone spears and axes, determining that the early humans in Arcadia-Dazeber lived a nomadic tribal lifestyle about around 65,000 years ago. In 1895 fossils were found in Tanburg Forest along with a small-size settlement. It could've indicate that the city might've existed around 3000 B.C or 800 B.C an early Arcadia settlement that could've focused on trade, nomadism, agriculture, hunting, and primitive blacksmithing.    

===Rise of Zeria===
Around 630 A.D. to 960 A.D, The Kingdom of Zeria was considered a Great Power of the region at the time uniting the small states under there banner. This point in Arcadia-Dazber history is considered a golden age for Zeria: with King Otto the Great expanding his kingdom to it's territorial height in 780 A.D. The kingdom during his reign experienced an age of literature, art, and philosophy as long with major reforms in the military and in the government and saw the conversion from pagan traditions to christianity. The main legacy of Otto the Great is probably his encouragement in 
culture, education, and art with many historians  often calling him the "father of Catcia". The Golden age came to an end when in 960 A.D; King Otto [[File:Medieval-Kings-and-Queens 2.jpg|200px|thumb|left| Painting of King Otto the Great]] passed away from national causes; and in the wake of his death a civil war occurred over the succession to the throne. Otto had three son's, but he never declared an heir when he died, so the throne was vacant. The civil war would last for 8 year's until in 968 A.D when they reached a stalemate and an eventually agreement at the city of Ostrian. 

The Treaty of Ostrian which split the kingdom into three East, Middle, and West Zeria. The west would become the Kingdom of Arcadia, the east would become the Kingdom of Galleria, and the middle would be carved up between both kingdoms of Arcadia and Galleria. When the Kingdom of Zeria was divided and the once unified state was no more, the region would soon be engulfed by war from a powerful adversary, the Shen empire. The Shen Empire would launch a massive invasion around 1005 A.D subjecting the northern kingdoms and duchies of the Dazeberians, an alliance would be form known as the Grand Alliance in order to stop the advance and push the Shen out. The alliance with the Dazeberians wasn't easy there was tension and mistrust between the two, but they were United with a common goal of survival. This war would be known as the [[Seven Year's War]] and it would be one of the bloodiest war in Arcadia-Dazber history. Throughout this time of conflict the Grand Alliance and Shen Empire both fought to a bloody stalemate with both sides trying to gain the advantage a climax would soon reach to determine the victor, that victor would be determine the at the Battle of Marinade otherwise known as "Bloody Marinade" was a major turning point. 

According to 10th century reports the Alliance forces were outnumber 2:1 it's estimated that the strength of Shen forces was about 20,000-35,000 and the alliance strength around 15,000-20,000. When the battle began it looked like both sides were evenly matched with the alliance forces putting up strong resistance this would go on for an hour until a turning point came when Shen forces had notice a gap form in the left flank the majority of Shen forces had focus on exploiting the left flank in an attempt to create a breakthrough this would succeed, and the breakthrough would cause the left flank to collapse, a retreat was then ordered by Rudolf II who was leading the battle most of the army would manage to escape but the rest would be encircled and massacred. On the 12th of October 1012 the armies of Shen had marched into the capital of Verinia with the last remnant of resistance snuffed out, King Rudolf II out of options and with the war lost had no choice, but to surrender and bend the knee to Emperor Chang Wolo and become subjected into the Shen Empire. Thus began the Age of Shen rule.  

===Age of Shen rule===

During this time, the Shen empire set up a series of vassal states in the newly conqured territories we're set up. All paying tribute, sending there armies when needed, and swearing oaths of loyalty to the Shen Emperor in exchange for the continuation of there way of life. 
During the 850 years of Shen rule new trade routes would open bringing a different variety of good's from Hesperida and Catcia, cities such as Bern, Colon, and the port city of Alskia became major spot's and commercial centers of commerce and trade. Immigrants from Ermizat kingdom came spreading there culture and mixing it along with Arcadia and Dazeber. Christianity played an important part in this time of age by helping the Ermizat king, with christianization of his kingdom a strong bond grew between the two people. 

In 1556, Queen Maria negotiated a settlement with the Shen Empire, this settlement gave the vassal State a greater amounts of autonomy and the end to the tributary system. The Arcadia culture was later accepted, as the official culture of The Principality of Verinia the following year. She ordered a construction of a new city Stalwart which took about four year's to built and would serve as the official capital for about approximately 316 year's.
