We can only test one instance at a time at this page, since they all operate on the page title above. 

The javascript that detects this template and does the actual change of the title only runs when a page is "viewed" normally, it does not run in preview and does not run if you have purged the page. So you have to save your changes here to see them. And if you purge the page, then you need to click the [template] tab to reload the page in normal "view" mode.
