==Nomination and Election==
Before 1984, candidates needed to be registered to Roll A, a designation limited to only Arrivee and Lehvantian voters. Additionally, candidates had to be 35 years of age and had to be landowners. Once these requirements were met, candidates had to either be nominated by a registered political party or had to finish in the top 4 of the jungle primary. To become President, a candidate had to receive the greatest number of votes, for example, Ferrand Benichou won the 1966 Election with 44.1% of the vote.
