The '''Director of the Sanctarian Intelligence Service''' serves as the head of the [[Sanctarian Intelligence Service]] (SIS), which is part of the Sanctarian intelligence community. The Director is appointed by the [[Secretary for Homeland Security (Sanctaria)|Secretary for Homeland Security]], to whom she reports directly, and is confirmed by the [[Sanctarian Senate]]. Regular reports are also made to the [[Chancellor of Sanctaria]] upon request.

The Director is appointed for a five year term, which is renewable. Once nominated by the Homeland Security secretary, the nominee must be confirmed by the Senate of Sanctaria, either in an open or closed-door session. The Director regularly reports to [[Parliament of Sanctaria|Parliament]] on the actions of the SIS and is ultimately responsible for the service.
