(OOC: Speaking of which I have not been online for a week due to some problems because of my sister's medical condition. She has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at multiple sites, so things are up in the air around here.)

Sad It is with great sadness that the people of Jonquiere-Tadoussac learned of the demise of Sober Thought yesterday. The government has declared a two week official period of mourning, and has placed the black flag of mourning at every public building.

(BTW Grosseschnauzer, I wish you and your family the best. Relatives with cancer is never a fun prospect. My thoughts go out to your sister.)

We are sad to hear this unfortunate news. Malabra's flags will be at half staff for the next few weeks, as Sober Thought and Isles of Koster were both valuable members to the IDU.

Sorry to hear that Grosseschnauzer. Hopefully she gets better. Good luck.

We will also fly our flags at half-mass for the next two weeks. Sober Thought was an amazing flag designer and recruiter, and overall a greatly valuable member of the IDU.

And Koster was regularly 1st place in the regional rankings, and the only IDU member to ever get 1st in the world.

This is a sad week for our region. We hope that they both will return soon.

(And I'm sorry to hear that too, GS. I hope she gets better.)

Still, a sad loss.

 Cheer Up People

We all have busy Real Lives and sometimes these things happen. Although it is a little sad, I'd prefer to think that there are so many good things happening in Koster and Sober Thought's lives at the moment that they don't have time to log in. They will need us again soon. :yeah:

:grouphug: Our best wishes to your family Grosseschnauzer during this time. I have also had cancer, fortunately it wasn't aggresive, but nevertheless quite scarey to deal will. I've been there and know what you must be going through. Hopefully with lots of love, hugs and high thoughts things will turn around. Take care of yourself so you have the energy to lend her the support she needs.

ST is back.

(And as for me, no change. I may lose internet access without being able to give warning, but I've made arrangements, so my nations should not go CTE.)
