Royal Decrees

July 8, 2016 Decree:

By Order of the King,

On July 8, 2016 I formally announce a new name for The Chris Empire, with the intention of using the new term as the official name for the nation. The name I have chosen is Christos. Christos being derived from the name of the planet our nation is on and the name of both King Chris and the most holy Jesus Christ.

Due to Christos being taken and not released on nationstates and also the fact that I worked so hard on this nation, I have decided not to make a new account.
The Chris Empire name can still be used for links and some forum posts and letters to other nations will read The Chris Empire/ Christos.

The Chris Empire still can be used to link my nation for embassies but Christos is the preferred name from now on. I have changed the government title to fit the name change.

October 28, 2016 Decree:

By Order of the King,

On October 28, 2016; President James Gideon and the World Assembly Representatives have received word that zombies have been spotted in other countries. Speculation of the threat level is still in debate by the World Assembly but I, the King, have issued a state of preparedness for everyone living in Christos to prepare for the upcoming zombie outbreak before it overruns the nation. In our history we've had an Invasion from the undead before but we had the power to win the war with the help of former President Ronald Rogers, who will be coming out of retirement to help the Christosian government aganist the undead threat. So I urge citizens to stay calm during all of this, to prepare accordingly and be ready to defend your country and your livelihood in the name of Christos.

May 18, 2018 Decree:

By Order of the King, The Crown Prince, The President, The Premier and the Government of Christos,

We hereby now use the name Christos on the Nationstates server and any other server related to Nationstates. After a long wait for the name to be released, Christos has been claimed by us. A new account has been made and the old account will be turned into a puppet account. We are glad to have gotten the name Christos when it was released. To nations with embassies and ambassadors please take note of the name change and the account change. Thank you.

Bush (Singer/ Guitar Player), Saddam Hussein (DJ Player), Dick Cheney (Bass Player), Colin Powell (Drummer), Donald Rumsfeld (Fiddler, Banjo Player), John Kerry (Back Up Singer), John Edwards (Back Up Singer).

"Arbiter Urban II Passes Away"

The Christosian people are in shock and sadness today to learn that the head of the Faith Branch Arbiter Urban II has died. According to the Arbiter's secretary "He died peacefully in his sleep last night. He is at peace now." The Heads of each Religion represented in the Faith Branch have given their "condolences." Crown Prince James and President Victoria Clefson have issued a week of mourning until the Crown Prince appoints a new head to the Faith Branch.

Arbiter Urban II was appointed by Crown Prince Uslam II at the age of 41. Urban II chose the name Urban to show his mission to help modernize the faiths of Christos. When in office he did his best to sow seeds of harmony between the major Faiths while in office. Arbiter held the most Faith conferences than any of his predecessors to try and bring more harmony to each faith in Christos. Arbiter Urban II made it his mission to help the faiths of Christos adjust to the changing universe.

Christosian Athletes Showcase Their Skills on the International Sports Stage

Monroe: Christos has recently been entering many international sporting events. As of this article Christos is participating in the 2nd annual Adora Cup and the Beconailles Tennis Tournament. Why the sudden rise of entries into sporting events? Well I, Lyla Monroe, was able to talk to the Minister of Foreign Relations Dominique Friar to get the inside scoop to these recent participation.

Monroe: Welcome Mrs. Friar and thank you for coming. I know you have a busy schedule with all these sporting events happening.
Friar: Thank you and its a pleasure that you invited me to come.

Monroe: So let’s get down to business. What’s with all these international sporting events Christos is joining?

Friar: First off…to defeat the Huns...Sorry just wanted to get that off my chest. I am a big Disney fan. But to answer your question Christos is entering all these sporting events because the Clefson administration wants to show the world Christos’s acqumen in sports. In layman’s terms we want to show off what Christos’s athletes can do on the world stage.

Monroe: Okay. So what started all of this sporting frenzy in the administration.

Friar: Well it started with our participation in the IDU Olympics. So participating in the Olympics got the administration thinking “if we can showcase our athletes to the nations of the IDU why not showcase it to the whole world?” I know that when we broke the news about opening the door for athletes to compete internationally the athletes in our nation were rejoicing and were ready to show their skills to a larger audience than just the Christosian people.

Monroe: So how do you think this will benefit Christos in terms of foreign relations?

Friar: Well this is a great opportunity to interact with more nations. Christos should not isolate itself. The more competitions we are in the exposure our nation has to the world. This gives us a door to make new trade deals, new embassies, and maybe even new alliances. The opportunity for Christos is there we just needed to open the door and show off what we can do.

Monroe: I agree it is a great opportunity for the nation. So back to the Olympics any comment on how Christos is doing in IDU Olympics so far?

Friar: Well first off I know that we have yet to win a medal but that doesn’t impact the gravity of actually participating in the Olympics. It has been good to see Christos represented by many great athletes. Though we have yet to win an event I believe it still a win for Christos as a whole. I know that all these athletes have done their best. If success does not happen this year then with a lot of training Christos could win next year. Honestly it's only a matter of time.

Monroe: Good point Mrs. Friar. Well that’s all the time we have. Thank you Madame Minister for joining me today. It has been great talking to you.
