I just joined the IDU a few minutes ago and thought I'd saunter over from NS to acclimate myself to the forums. I'm really liking how active things seem to be; quite excited!

It's good to see that you are liking it here.
If you want to familiarize yourself with the region, I recommend you read some of the pinned topics on the "New to the IDU" page.
I see that you are a WA member. So it seems prudent to tell you that we also have an election occurring soon. Now, you won't be able to run for delegate (because you haven't been in the region for at least 2 weeks) but you are allowed to vote. Check the election page for more info.

EDIT: Also, you may not be able to post in any of the other forums until your member status has been upgraded to "IDU Member". One of the admin should be around to do it soon.
