I didn't get the response I was looking for in the NSwiki subforum, but Im thinking the "region's fauna thread" attracted so much interest, my thread got lost in the wind...
Anyways, I have started an articel about the gnejsian first division soccer league on NSWiki. It's called "Allgnejsan" and has so far been made up by only players native to Gnejs. It is extremely popular among the nations citizens, and are now looking to bring in players from all around the region. Would anyone be interested in having one of their players turn "pro" in Gnejs?
The Allgnejsan is made up by 14 teams, but so far I have only come up with 13 names:
*Briskeby BK
(Nickname: "Raconteurs". Last years winners and big favourite this year. From the town of Briskeby in Birka. A city with a "small town feeling" were the Raconteurs are the biggest pride and joy. Play here and you will be king. Inhabitants speak Norwegian as first language, but also master english and swedish.)
*FC Kejm.
(Nickname: "Dockers". Ended in second place last year. From the city of Port Kejm in Birka. FC Kejm is a good team, but has never been able to attract many fans. Play here and you will enjoy a serious team and anonymous "big city life". Largest city in Gnejs. Inhabitants speaks english as first language.)
*Finntorp IK
(Nickname: "Charlatans". From the city of Finntorp on Ecpatia. Top team for several years, although have never won. Big rivals with BK R?sunda and often spoken of as the "posh" alternative in Finntorp. The city of Finntorp is one of the biggest in Gnejs and located in the nations northern parts.
*BK R?sunda
(Nickname: "Raggamuffins". Classic "Working class team" which in recent years have become extremely popular. The "Hip" alternative these days, not only in Finntorp on Ecpatia, but all over the nation. Are known to have the best and loudest fans in Gnejs. Fierce rivals with Finntorp IK. Make it in BK R?sunda and you'll be a star all over the nation.
*IFK Hagen
(Nickname: "Daughters", abbreviated from "Daughters of Hagen". Classic team with several Allgnejsan victories. Known to have a very strong defensive side. From the city of Hagen, a big city located in ?ngby.
*Lokomotiv Esaias
(Nickname: "Prophets". "Middle team" for the last seasons. Native to the town of Albia in Vika. Albia offers beautiful sites from it's location right by the sea in the gnejsian "bible belt". The Prophets fans are known to be very loyal.)
*Erika FC
(Nickname: "Confederates", due to the nearness to the Confederation of Domnonia. Comes from the city of Erika in ?ngby. Typical "middle team" with ambitions to climb higher.)
*Stor?ngens IF
(Nickname: "Bohemians". From the nations capital of Gnejs City. Has been a middle team for several years, but later seasons have shown inprovement. Has a large fan base, but they usally only show their numbers in the derby against IFK Nordstjernan. The nickname Bohemians is said to come from the supporters inability so show up at matches. Gnejs City is a big city located in ?ngby. It is the nations political centre and also offers most aspects of modern gnejsian big city life. Inhabitans of Gnejs City speak swedish, english and norwegian.)
*FC Nova
(Nickname: "Libertines". From Port Kejm. New for the year and divides the gnejsian experts. 50% views them as standing no chance in the highest division, due to their low experience and young squad. The other half sees them as the most exciting newcomers in years. Has always attracted quite a big fan base. The derby against FC Kejm is something many kejmians look forward too.)
*Norrholmia
(Nickname: "Inquisitors/Big Brother". From the city of Norrholmia in Vika. Has been seen as a top team for several seasons, but has had trouble delivering. The nickname Inquisitors is a joke about the big amount of christians in the nations southern part. Big Brother is also a nickname of the town of Norrholmia, as it is the biggest town by far in Vika. Living in Norrholmia offers a calm city life experience. Inhabitatns speak mainly swedish, but master english.)
*Welmia IF
(Nickname: "Litt'lans/Yoyo's". Classic team, but new for the year. The nickname Yoyo's comes from the teams tendency to jump between the first and second division.)
*Euston Athletic
(Nickname: "Malingers". From the town of Euston in the nations most northern parts. Been struggling at the bottom for several years. The origin of the teams nickname is unknown. Known to have fanatic fans that shout loud and creative supporters' chant. Inhabitants speak english.)
*IFK Nordstjernan
(Nickname: "Explorers/Blues". From Gnejs City northern parts. Came in fourth last year and are aiming to improve this year. Fierce rivals with Bohemians and the Gnejs City derbys are considered the most intense.)
If interested, please post players name, position, what team you would like him to play for and any other info you might find usefull.
Thanks!
