I was wondering if someone could write a proposal for a safe train act. I don't really know how to write them.
Maybe include all new train tracks need to have a 500-1000 ft view of railroad crossing before crossing it, giving it enough time to stop. Also include all trains need to be outfitted with better hydraulic breaks. A max speed which depends on the track and trains in use. Maybe the speed should depend on the weight of the train too. Better security around trains carrying hazardous materials... like bio and nuclear materials. Slower speeds for trains carrying hazardous materials.
I think this is a good one, because of the recent train crash. Is this worth it or just a waste of the UN time?? Should this maybe just be something individual countries should take care of? There are plenty of railroad crashes that we don?t here about that kill people all the time.
