That is a shame, as it was a beautiful building.
If I weren't a water engineer, I'd want to be in construction and just love buildings like that.
Was it destroyed during the war? I had thought that Rotterdam suffered the most, though I'm sadly ignorant of any Allies caused damage in the Netherlands.

One that note, there are more than a few pictures of Germany's "Rothenburg o.d. Tauber" (my own) that I've been using.

On that note, if anybody ever sees something that screams tiny village and is your picture or a friends, if you aren't planning on using it in NationStates, with the exception of Miervatia City, Mikitivity is really a nation of tiny villages and I'd love to find a way to weave more RL places into my nation!

Oh, I realized why I love small towns ... I'm a Pitts"burg"h native. So trains, forts, rivers, and small mountain villages are in my blood. Western Pennsylvania is so fun.
