Interestingly, we have a perfect 50 Events. This means 150 medals to give out.

Interesting idea in mixing some winter and summer sports together, as well as a Greco-Roman Pentathlon. Sure it doesn't have some of the usual sports, but I think that for a first edition it's good enough. Yay.

Yeah, we can't just add to the list because people have already voted for the old list. We could retroactively alter it afterwords by another vote but that I am going away (totally AFK) from next Sunday until two Fridays from now so our progress would be seriously stymied.

Also, yeah, we already have 50 events, that basically assures at least 200+ athletes. That would be with only 4 athletes per event. In reality the number will be even higher. It is up toy Shuell, just keeping mind that scorinating this will be really time consuming as is.

In my opinion, there's probably already a touch too many sports. It's going to take a long time for Shuell to do the scoring for all that. We don't really want the olympics lasting until 2020! I wouldn't support adding anything else to the list.

Alrighty... here is the deal... the Olympics are running way behind schedule. With the best interest of the Olympics in mind here is my ultimatum: Unless any new changes are decided upon by next Monday, I am taking our previously approved list and opening submissions right then and there.

I don’t want to rush things at the expense of the Olympics but I do know that the Late July-Early August time slot is when the most people seem to be active so I would like to make the Olympics fall in that time period.


I would personally leave the list as is but that is just my say.

Electing a Successor

I intend to close this session now that the Olympics are up and running (at this point our organization has no use to the 2019 Olympics) in the very near future. I ask now that any member of this committee willing to run for Chair/President declare so at this time. Please state your intentions before 12:00 PM EST on Thursday, September 19th, 2019. If no candidates are self nominated at that time, the chair will look favorably upon a motion to end this Olympic Committee session.
