Absolutely phenomenal Chili Con Queso, NewTexas really outdid themselves with this one.

Urrsurra fferrn-White, a celebrity chef who is Bears Armed's judge for this competition, was wandering around the display hall giving the various cheeses and cheese-related products that have been entered a final examination.

"Mum, you haven't taste-tested that one yet," her daughter Arrna helpfully pointed out, indicating the Boricuastani entry.

"I'm not going to try tasting that one," Urrsurra replied. [i]"Take a closer sniff at it."
Arrna leant towards the samples of this 'cheese' which were presented "temptingly" on a selection of crackers, and then recoiled suddenly.
"HWhew, I smell hwhat you mean.
"Hr'rmm, maybeso it could be used as an insect-repellent, instead? No, maybeso not a good idea, that, neither: I'd be a bit worried about hwhat any insect that ate it and managed to survive might turn into!"

As Big Tex wanders amongst the various Cheese entries, one keeps drawing him back - the simply wonderful Bison-Brii. As he learns more and more about this delightful cheese, he is impressed by the cave aging process. He was completely unaware that cheese could be ripened in this manner. The salt content of the City version particularly appealed to his palate. Normally not a big fan of juniper berries, the juniper version served on a water cracker with a Gin & Tonic was surprisingly tasty. The Bison-Brii, in Big Tex's humble opinion is the best in show at the IDU Cheese Festival.

While being completely biased, NewTexas Chili Con Queso is simply scrumpdillyicious. Two thumbs up on this product.

Upon seeing a Trivian Pizza Hut booth at the Festival, Big Tex was intrigued. Typically, Pizza Huts are not known for their use of quality cheeses, certainly not those served at international affairs. However, the Trivian Cheddary Creamy Yellowy Spicey Cheddar used on the pizza was simply amazing. Creaveable even. Very nice work.

Former Prime Minister Cornelis N?ss wanders the venue absentmindedly, nibbling at select entries. Gnejsian Ambassador Extraordinary to the Council of IDU States, Nicho Thistle walks a few steps behind him, playing a game of Angry Mallards on his mobile phone device.

This was the life of Cornelis N?ss, post the 2015 general elections; representing the Prosaic Union abroad, eating cheeses, shaking hands. The former Prime Minister had embraced the boredom, and it had made him even gloomier.

"So, this is the famous cheese festival, eh, Thistle? This is basically what you and the rest of the CIDUS managed to put together during the last term?"

"Yes, Cornelis, this is it. It actually is a time-honored IDU-tradition, but I'm not surprised that you're oblivious to the fact." answered Thistle, without looking up from his screen.

"Don't get smart with me, young man. You wouldn't be here if it wasn't for me, you know. Fuck lot of good it did though, sending you here; are you really going to abolish the council? Not that it makes any difference, should've kept to ourselves, we should've, like we always did." N?ss was of the 'isolationist' persuasion, and was tenderly refered to as 'the hermit' within Gnejs.

"Like you always did, rather. My appointment was continuing a Gnejsian tradition of interregional cooperation. But yeah, the council is being abolished. Just texted my vote in favor, actually."

N?ss lets out a disapproving growl before continuing: "What are you doing instead? I'm assuming you're not going to stop leaching off of the national coffers anytime soon, just a bump in the road, eh?"

"The schnauzers have a plan lined up, we'll be fine. So, are you going to cast your vote anytime soon, so we can be done with this?"

"Cheese, yes, that's right. Say, Thistle, did the Bears really vote for themselves? Is that some kind of Urrish tradition?"

Thistle leafs through a folder he's been carrying under his arm. "Yeah, they did. No big deal, you can vote for our entry, if you like."

"Brown cheese, are you kidding me? I'm sick of it, makes me dream about goats, it does. This was rather tasty, Thistle, which one is this?"

Thistle looks through his papers again. "Eh, seems to be some sort of cheese related product from Boricuastan, yeah I believe that's the one."

"Eloquent as always, Thistle. Put us down for that one. What about these two?"

"That's Yeldan Kl?llen?ot?n and the other one is Kennyite Fluffy Cloud."

"What's a Kennyite? The Yelda tastes nice."

"Yelda and OMGTKK are old outer-regional allies. Long-time friends of the IDU. Both prominent WA-members. Seriously, N?ss, how do you not know these things?"

"Bah, foreign affairs are for fairies. They make a good cheese, though. Put me up for a Yelda and the fluff. Are we done, then?"

"Yelda is the country, not the cheese. But, yeah, we're done. I'll send your vote to the secretariat."
