Sorry Gardavasque, I just realized I made an unfortunate mistake on my map image.  The city on the southeastern coast should be named Jeonyu, not Imyu as listed.  Apologies about the mistake, and hopefully this isn't too difficult to fix before the map update!

Hi Regmotto, and thanks for your interest in a spot on the IDU map and becoming a part of the IDU community. Unfortunately, I don't believe that this map request can be granted, as this space is earmarked for the location of Darya, an NPC nation important to shared IDU regional canon. This size also appears to my eyes to be excessive for a new nation, particularly one without any activity on the wiki or Discord thus far. Feel free to apply for another location, perhaps adjacent to one of our other Slavic-inspired nations such as Holokovoy.

Hello, I was hoping that a few modifications could be made to my current territory (Legionas), hopefully they won't be difficult to implement!
1. Inclusion of 3 or so decently mid-sized islands close to the current existing islands on the Aegir Sea, and expansion in size of the current ones, as they are meant to encompass an administrative region with a decently sized population and their current size currently doesn't make that tenable.
2. Slight revision of the North-West border, reducing it in size and making it look less artificial, image at the end of this should show a rough sketch. 
3. Adding of a small island on the South Xiomeran Sea, preferably at the southern point, called Vrayrosh Island.
4. Adding of a small island on the Southern Ocean, wherever you may deem appropriate, called Holvale Island.

I was reviewing some of the nations scheduled for transfer to Meridia, and it appears that a number of them are puppets of active players which are still intended for IDU RP, even though the NS nations may have CTEd and been refounded elsewhere. For instance, Mallacaland and Lao Sansong are both puppets of Slokais's which are the subject of ongoing RP (as seen here: https://media.idugov.com/2023/06/11/mall...embership/) and have histories intertwined with neighboring nations, and so I'd like to suggest that they be kept in their current locations rather than be relocated to Meridia. Here's the nations that I spotted falling under this category:
- Bjeorg (puppet of LOM's, important to LOM's historical RP)
- Iskiram (puppet of Shuell's, important to Shuell and Serriel's RP)
- Lao Sansong (puppet of Slokais's, involved in RP)
- Mallacaland (same as above)
- Mansilla (puppet of LOM's)
- Shuell (active on Discord)

Addressing the Bjeorg issue, I did elect to allow Bjeorg (the nation in NS proper) to Cease to Exist, though this was to better reflect the nation's status as a semi autonomous region of Libertas Omnium Maximus. If the island could be maintained in its current place, that would be great. If you have additional questions, comments, or concerns, I am happy to address them either within this forum or via discord PM, whatever is most convenient for you. In the event that a particular color is assigned to all semi-autonomous/disputed regions (such as Littoral Marches/Xueyan SAR or the canal DMZ in Xiomera), that would probably be most appropriate for Bjeorg.

In the new version of the map, there will be the possibility to define "provinces" or subnational units with disputed borders.

Hi Regmotto. Thank you for your request. Unfortunately, This wouldn't be a suitable location for a few reasons... a) New nations need to get consent of proposed bordering nations before staking a claim next the existing nations. This is to deter aggressive nations itching for a fight (not that you would misbehave); b) Much of this area of Caxcana will be underwater in the new version of the map due to a combination of global plate tectonics and global warming and to more clearly define the continents; and c) as Laeral said, a new nonplayer nation "New Darya" will be added in Northern Caxcana as part of the "Great War" role play.  I acknowledge you couldn't have known this as it wasn't publicly communicated. Please accept my sincerest apologies along with this gift basket of award-winning Capravino cheese, fresh baked Eternity Bay Sourdough bread, and a fine selection Gardavascan wines and sparkling grape juice with sincerest apologies on behalf of the Cartographer General.

Hello Gardavasque,
I have a request that I hope can be accommodated before the next map update. The body of water separating Libertas Omnium Maximus from Arizcara and Legionas presently has no name. Although I was unable to get in touch with Arizcara, I did reach out to Legionas (see Discord 8-8-23), who agreed that the body of water should be promptly named, leaving the selection of a suitable title to my discretion. I propose that the body be called the Galinios Sea, a translation of the Greek word γαλήνιος, meaning "placid" into English. I feel that this name is both befitting the body of water, which is largely protected from the harshest ocean currents by the shape of Hesperida's south-eastern coast, and sufficiently neutral in name to be generally applicable to any nation that may need to utilize the sea in their lore. Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns and I will be happy to address them. Thank you for your hard work.

Haesan has a smooth, easily navigable coastline.  A large mountain range is found in the far west, Starting in North Soeyan (Xueyan SAR), and cutting down all the way south to the coast of the Albarine Sea.  A smaller mountain range cuts east-west through the western half of Haesan, bisecting the two (as yet unnamed) lakes.  The central and eastern portions of Haesan are fairly riparian, with cities mainly forming along coasts and in river valleys.

The second request, a bit unusual due to the circumstances of the upcoming map redesign, is a claim of Byzconia's territory in the case that they fail to meet the requirements to remain on the next map.  This additional claim would also include the island circled in the map below.  The Slokais Islands, the only other nation who has a potential geographic claim to Byzconia's territory, has approved of this plan.

The third request, is to indicate that the so-called "Xueyan SAR" is a disputed territory claimed by Haesan but administered by Laeral.  Laeral has acknowledged that we dispute the territory, and gives the ok for it to be acknowledged as such.  This can be done at the mapper's discretion.

The area outlined in black is the initial claim of Haesan.  The red dot on the large lake is the capital placement we would like if the Byzconia claim fails.  The red dot on the river border with Byzconia is the capital placement we request if the merger succeeds.  The purple striped area to the east is our request for the Byzconian territory, along with the unclaimed circled island.  The purple striped area to the west is the Laeralian controlled territory we dispute.

We have tried to fulfill all aspects of your request and sincerely hope you are pleased with the result. We've added "Disputed with Haesan" to the Xueyan SAR and colored it grey. We have determined that rather than disappearing, Byzconia has in fact shifted several thousand kilometers to the southeast due to global plate tectonics.
