The Kaijan Affair
#51

Joseph Chavez got off the phone after a long night of calls, Hopefully, the Pirate Party would be a vote against Resolution 1223.2 and because Resolution 1223.3 was the same as 1223.2 but with some changes about the powers that would put in under the opposing bills act. He had promised that he would cancel the aid from Ximoera and that he hoped that would vote on the bill soon. Now all Jospeh Chavez needed to do was find a replacement source of aid. He knew that if the shipment did not arrive the whole grain economy of North Kaijan would collapse causing an economic recession in the farming towns of North Kaijan. A few hours later the house season restarted when the Pirate Party said they were going to vote.
The House Chair spoke "MPs of Southern Bank and El Versco and you willing to vote" he asked
"Yes we are Mr. Chair"
"Then we shall reopen voting"
A few minutes later the Chair spoke again "Resolution 1223.2 with 203 no and 201, yes this resolution fails, Resolution 1223.3 which was set up in opposition of the Failed Resolution 1223.2 then passes"
"Objection, sir," said Micheal Spencer
"Yes, MP from Allentown"
"I believe that you should review resolution 1223.3 to see if it qualifies under Section 24.1"
"Your Review is denied, the window for review has closed"
"Actually, because 2 MPs did not vote on the bill In the earlier session did not close"
"There is no section the backs up what you are saying, so because of that with the power given to me by the Government of the Federation of Slokais Islands and Section 8.67 I shall give my verdict as this situation is not in the rules of Parliament, you shall not request judicial review and this time"
"Are there any motions to close debate"
"Yes I have a motion to close debate until the next session," said Joseph Chavez"
"Anyone have any counter motions"
"Because there are no counter motions, this motion passes, and this session is over," the Chair said as he banged his gavel.

Jimmy entered the room where the rest of the group and the contact were. Spread out across the room were weapons Galor, the hunting weapons were open, and inside were the real weapons.
"Wow," said the contact
"Yeah, go stuff"
"I guess I could introduce myself, my name is Agent H"
"well, Agent H thanks for the help"
"What is your plan," he asked Jimmy
"He pulled up a map on his computer, this is the Carville ferry terminal," he said as he pointed to a large building on the waterfront.
"My plan is to get everyone in one place, then we shall strike the blow, then we escape by boat"
"I see, let me take you down to the waterfront"

The Waterfront was West of Downtown Carville, the terminal looked older with a large train station like a facade. Just to the left of the terminal was a dock they walked over there and asked if they could park a boat here
"No, you have to have a private membership," said an old man with a sailor jacket
"So how would one acquire a membership"
"Become a member of the Carville Boat Club, go up to there clubhouse to find out more," he said

The Carville Boat Club was a nice looking two-story building by the water inside was a restaurant and some event space
"Excuse me," asked Agent H
"Yes, sir," said the man at the check-in desk
"How could one get a membership at the club"
"Just sign up for some boating lessons"
"And how long will that take"
"Well, Well looks like somebody is in a rush just sign up with us and we arrange a lesson time"

A few minutes later Agent H walked on from the back,
"I got a lesson at Noon on Friday"
They all walked out and Jimmy pulled him aside
"I did not come here to wait, I came here to fulfill the mission"
"Relax, I already have a boat so I can master it within 1 course"
"Okay, but the longer we wait the more likely we will be found"
"I understand, but do you want to escape or not, I do"
"Alright let's get back to the hotel"

A Very Slokasaian Xmas:

Joseph Chavez checked his messages as his 6-year old daughter Maria stood over his shoulder.
"What are you looking at daddy," she said
"Nothing, sweetie what gifts did you get"
"I got this nice book about girl politicians, like your friend at your job, Alex"
"Oh nice did they talk about Brooke Wesley"
"You mean the not so nice lady"
"Yes, honey the not so nice lady"
"How was she a not so nice lady"
"Well she did not work for the people"
"Like Joseph Zhang"
'Well, Joseph is a nice guy but sometimes nice people can become bad politicians"

Jimmy Woods felt alive as he got closer to the Carville Ferry Terminal and in just a few minutes, he would have the honor of terrorizing the people of Costeno once and for all and get back them for those who had died fighting them in many wars. Agent H had gotten the boat yesterday and the bomb was already in place. It was 8:42 they would begin at 8:45 during the middle of the morning rush, they moved towards the ticket counter as the clock got closer to 8:45 then right at 8:45 they reached the gate and then the group waited for the bomb to go off.
"Excuse me can I check your bags," said the agent
Still no explosion
"Um yeah sure"
He looked inside
"Is this a gun-
Ryan pulled out his gun and shot him, the whole terminal ran for cover as the group went through the hall firing at any officers they saw, then ran for the side exit. They reached the boat dock, however, the boat was not docked it was sitting about 10 feet away from the end of the dock.
"The bomb did not go off let's get out of here, bring the boat closer"
"No, I can not do that"
"Why not"
"Because," he said as he pulled out his pistol
"I do not want to help you"
Jimmy fired at him however he just ducked
He laughed at the group
"Did, you really think I was a "local operative"
"Whatever you are we still have more rounds"
Agent H then pulled out his badge
"SIBI, you are under arrest for committing an act of terrorism"
"F**king Marxist cop"
Behind the group came 10 or so officers with there guns drawn
"Don't move" one of them yelled as they surrounded the group on the dock
Ryan tried to pull out his gun but the officer knocked it into the water
"Oh please you think I was going to fall for that," he said as he handcuffed him.

General John Acura Jr sat in the back of the humvee as it moved the damaged streets of Kascan City. Every building was riddled with bullet holes, some with collapsed walls or massive holes. The road had turned into a mess, the road was covered with dust, the burned-out remains of vehicles and so many pot-holes. The township hall looked stable enough, most of the windows were broken though besides some bullet holes it seemed very solid. He stepped out of the vehicle and walked through the blasted through the entranceway and into the main hq. The halls of the building were covered in the beds and camps of cvilains. Some rooms had makeshift medical stations, some had portable toilets in them some had equipment and storage.
"Welcome General,"
"At ease commander"
"as you know the Kaijan League has set up just 2 miles down the road around a small collection of houses"
"Yes, I think we could send a group forward on vehicles to secure those buildings, then we could send another force later to help them hold the line"
"Is there a leader telling us anything"
"No, he has not said much since he was taken to the SIBI"
The General walked away as he looked down at his patch from the Laucherorian Civil War, his original plan of attack was to encircle their position, however, he remembered what happened the last time he tried that at Annatown. Would it work better in this more dense area than in the woods of Laucheroria, maybe however he did not want to see more pointless losses, he had seen too much, in his life.

Robert Gonzalez walked down 32nd Ave S in his blue New Liverpool Transit Authority Uniform. He was going to his night job as a station manager. He walked into Sun Mart to get some snacks when he heard a shouting match at the front desk.
"Pay up, we protect you from the United Front and 30 Ave gang"
"Like, I said I gave you the money yesterday," said the cashier
"Well, rates have gone up, now pay"
Robert Gonzalez walked forward
'Get out of here, this is none of your business" the man who was demanding the money said
"He can not pay you anymore"
"Yes, he can" he yelled as punched Robert in the stomach
However, Robert got up and made him drop the knife the attacker had held, The two of them began throwing quick punches at each other, Robert jumped over the counter then spun back to kick the attacker right in the back. He then jumped on top of the attacker and pinned him to the ground.
"Call the police," he said to the cashier
"Who sent you," he asked the attacker
"Who are you" he responded
"I am not telling you just tell me how sent you"
"Nobody"
He grabbed his phone out of the attackers pocket and then saw the flag of the Kaijan League as the background screen.
"Kaijan League huh"

A few minuites later the police arrived and took the attacker away
"Thanks for pining him down"
"No problem, let me get to work now" he said as kept walking down the street.

Transport Vehicles left the front line and heading through the dead zone between the two sides. Covering fire came down on the Kaijan League Line.
"Hopefully, they did not but down any anti-vehicle mines," the General said.

The Transports burst through the sandbags and out of the back government forces swarmed out. For the next few minutes, it was pure chaos with everyone firing at each other. The two sides had set up on opposite sides of the road, exchanging fire. Above them, a government helicopter swooped giving government forces air support. With that, a group ran across the road and into the building the Kaijan League was in, a few minutes they came with about 20 or so prisoners with the rest fleeing back to a cluster of buildings about a mile up the road. Then minesweepers went out to clear the mess in the former dead-zone turns out the Kaijan League had landmines around the position, so if they encircled the building it would mean disaster. From now on going forward on foot would be more difficult with the possibility of landmines. A full team would come in soon to make sure there were no mines left in government controlled territory.

The next goal was to take the village of Sarnak, then push on down the highway to Allmack, the capital of the Kaijan League.

“Well, ladies and gentlemen,” Jorge Carballo said grimly, using a form of address considered outdated and odd in Lauchenoiria, “what we feared happened. The United Front attempted an attack in Costeno.”

“They failed, though,” Jimena Secada pointed out. “It could have been much worse, if Slokaisian intelligence hadn’t been on the ball.”

“Ah yes,” Carballo nodded. “That’s the second concern. Slokaisian intelligence saw fit to carry out an operation on our territory without our consultation or approval. Nor that of the federal government. Alvarez has the image of a pushover on the world stage, and that places all of us in danger. Every action she takes is a reaction to something else going on, she appeases foreigners before she does anything else.”

“I don’t think that’s quite…”

“So, an update on the situation,” Carballo interrupted Secada. “The Slokaisian agent plans to return home, leaving us with a number of terrorist prisoners. The Slokaisians have not yet requested an extradition or any special treatment, but we can guarantee they’ll have an opinion of how we deal with them. It’s a federal crime, so whatever happens next is out of our hands.”

“It is out of the federal government’s hands too,” pointed out Secada. “We are not like Kerlile or Shuell; we have an independent judiciary.” Her mention of Shuell was calculated to irritate him, and she succeeded.

“Bullshit!” he glared at her. “Eddington, Tlixō, Xōne. Ask any one of them if our judiciary is truly independent. Oh wait, one is dead, and two are in federal prison.”

“You forgot Peter Bloch,” Secada smirked. “You pick and choose your examples, Governor, as you see fit. President Marwick is gone; his flaws and his absurd extradition act no longer affect us. Much to your disappointment, I’m sure.”

“Are you accusing me of something!?”

“Quiet!” snapped a voice from the back of the room. Jae Chung, representative of Lauchenoiria’s federal intelligence agency stepped forward. “This is meant to be a briefing on the attempted terrorist attack at Carville Ferry Terminal, not a meeting of your coalition’s cabinet. Resolve your political differences later. The federal government is taking over the handling of this matter and the investigation, that is final. Nothing you say now, after witnessing this will convince me to advise Alvarez otherwise. Governor, Secretary, I’ll leave you to your argument.”

Chung left the room quickly and pointedly, leaving the two Costenan politicians to glare at each other and continue their argument. She left the building and walked out onto the streets of Carville, pulling her jacket tight against the strong wind which was blowing in from the sea. She boarded an overcrowded train at the nearest station and rode one stop along, to get closer to the ferry port. She made her way there through the throng of construction workers making their way to the various sites across the city. It had been hit hard in the war, and was now being rebuilt site by site.

At the port, she flashed her ID and ducked under the police tape, walking over to the location where the terrorists had shot one of the security personnel. She introduced herself to the officer in charge, who was naturally displeased about the federal takeover of his investigation. They always were.

“I’ve heard of you,” he grunted to Chung. “You had that Aurora USB in the war.”

“Auroras,” she sighed. “Yes, they’ve been the cause of many headaches since the war. Have you heard the conspiracy theories that Auroras are behind the unrest in Slokais? I don’t believe them, personally. This smells more like home-grown terrorism.”

“You had the chance to speak to any of the prisoners yet?” he asked Chung.

“No, I’m heading there after this, before their transfer.”

“They’ll call you a communist, fair warning,” he looked out at the sea. “They haven’t a clue.”

“Seeking revenge now for actions taken in the 1400s,” Jae nodded. “Yes, I rather think they haven’t a clue. Their grudge predates communism by centuries; it dates back to feudal times. I wouldn’t be surprised if they attempted to seek out whoever would be the heir to the Costenan throne if it was restored, as a target.”

“Weren’t they all wiped out?” he frowned. “The royals.”

“There was a monarch for a long time before the revolution. There will likely be a distant descendant of the previous King, some fourth son’s fourth son’s fourth… I could go on. I’ll speak to the monarchists, they likely know.”

“There’s still monarchists?”

“There’s always monarchists,” she shrugged. “There’s a campaign to restore the Fleuran monarchy and unite Lauchenoiria and Kerlile. Someone was executed in Kerlile for it. It’s shocking what you can find in old filing cabinets. Anyway, can you tell me anything I haven’t already read in the reports?”

“It’s all in there. They landed at Buttercity Airport, had a false gun license to get through security, made their way down here using private vehicles, planned to blow up the terminal. Far-right United Front members. Stopped and apprehended by a Slokaisian intelligence agent who’d infiltrated their group.”

“Any local contacts? Real ones, not the agent.”

“Not as far as we can tell.”

“Thank you, you’ve been helpful,” Jae said then paused. “May I ask you a personal question?”

“I don’t do politics,” he replied.

“You seem to already know what I was going to ask.”

“Chaher or Moore? It’s the question on everyone’s lips, particularly down here. Costeno still has many more divisions than the north of the country. We were hit hardest of all by the war; there’s even an independence movement forming as a result. But as for my own political leanings, I don’t have them. Communists, capitalists, it’s all the same in the end. You live and you die.”

“Thank you, inspector,” she nodded and left, playing with the zip on her jacket, wishing she’d dressed more warmly. The weather was unnaturally cold, far colder than one tended to expect in this part of Lauchenoiria. She wondered what it was like in Slokais, and she wondered if this would be yet another civil war that everyone across the world was dragged into, like it or not.

A small troop of soldiers exited the back of a van with a government license plate. From inside a group of poll workers stepped out carrying voting equipment. They walked inside a small gym next to some soccer fields, the Mayor of Penang welcomed them.
"Oh good you are here," he said
"Yeah," said one of the poll workers.
"Sorry for the military escort"
"No, I know what is happening up in Kascan Township"
"Okay, know where going to set up the polling machines"
"Let me hook up the town generator to the building"
"Before you say otherwise, voting is scared, I do not want you working in the dark"

Joseph Chavez finished signing the request for extradition to Slokais Islands. It read as follows

For the act of illegal gun smuggling the purchase of military-grade weapons and the killing of a ticket agent and an attempted act of terror, I hereby ask the Federation of Lauchenoiria to extradite all 5 suspects back to the Federation of the Slokais Islands for further questioning and trial.

President Joseph Zhang
Prime Minister Joseph Chavez
"send that to the Lauchernorian government," he said as he stood up

Kashan Crossing was quiet as Kaijan League forces went into their lunch break. A soldier with a heavy rifle was sitting by the doorway of a home.
From inside a man in grey shorts and a t-shirt steeped out. "I have discovered a traitor to the revolution," he said
"Okay where"
"Right here," he said as knocked out the guard cold, he then dragged him inside. He then came back out with his uniform and weapon he then walked across the road to the weapons storage room, he grabbed some weapons then moved behind the houses, knocking on back doors and giving them weapons. In a few minutes, the whole town was armed. He then moved towards the front line "I am the new heavy weapons guy" he said
'Cool, the machine gun battery is here"
He moved into the battery then gave the signal to a guy on the roof of a neighboring house. Then from inside the houses, people stormed out weapons in hand and began taking out the squad of soldiers. Some ran to the weapons room, but all the weapons and ammo were gone. In a few minutes, all the Kaijan League forces were captured or killed. Then some people ran to the flag pole and lowered the Kaijan League flag and raised a makeshift flag of the Slokais Islands. Government forces then carefully walked across the possible minefield with a metal detector and greeted the townspeople.

As night fell over Allmack, the Kaijan League terrority could be seen, because they conserved electricity and now only used it for military uses, the town was a circle of darkness in the brightly lit areas surrounding the town of 15,000. Thought the day because of the loss of Kascan Crossing government forces quickly advanced and had formed a front line just outside the town. In neighboring Alishan Township, the last remnants of Kaijan League forces were being moved back over towards Allmack.

Inside the city hall, Kaijan League leaders had gathered some were speaking out that to preserve the movement they must escape to the mountains, some said they should stand and fight and they knew the government would not target civilian buildings. Then a man in full military gear stood up.
"When the commander left us he never put anyone in charge, however, I am the highest-ranked person here, I believe I should make the decision to stay or not".
"I am the leader of our propaganda department, the commander wanted me to succeed him if he even was captured," he said and a few around him agreed with him.
"Just because you think the commander wanted you to be leader, does not mean he wanted you to be"
"Fine," he said as he and some others walked out in disgust.
"Alright, then tell everyone to head for the mountains by dawn tomorrow, from there we will keep up the revolution"
"And also make sure to execute and serve justice to anyone waiting for the people court to decide their fate"
"where could we go," someone in the audience said
"We still have the airstrip," said Martin Gonzalez.

As government forces walked through Allmack, they saw what the Kaijan League had done, every civilian talked about people they knew were missing. "My son and his boyfriend disappeared a few days in as well as my father, please find them" a woman cried as she spoke to a soldier. In the center of town, they found the platform, operatives have talked about, there were a couple of hundred marks marked into the front of the platform, each representing a person they executed.
As they searched the town they found more and more stories of the wrath of the Kaijan League, rumors were they all left at night a went into the mountains through a back road, however, they had blown up a tunnel along the road to cover there retreat.

Behind the town, was a massive pit full of body bags stacked together in rows, next to them were about a hundred or so newly marked graves, probably for Kaijan League fighters. In the center of the town, the flag of the Kaijan League was being lowered, and up came the flag of the Slokais Islands. Around the town, minesweepers went around finding various mines. In an unmarked building, they found stacks of clothing waiting to be burned in some kind of attempt to generate power for the town generators.

For now, the Kaijan League was out of town, though they would be back. In the coming weeks, the task would be to get the lives of civilians of the area back on their feet as well as give those executed proper burials and return those dead soldiers to various cemeteries across the nation. Even though it had been only a month, for those inside there were scars that would take years to heal.

The Burial team came in and then started the identification process, people waited in line to ask of there loved one's remains were there. A lot of people buried the loved ones, in their family plots and a few went to bury them in other towns. Shops began to open up as the new generator was brought in by the government, it would now run the town for years to come, outside of town teams were clearing mines for the fields. Farms began to start running again with people returning to the fields to harvest rice and grain. The various Kaijan League graffiti and writing were cleared from the town.

Up to road in Kascan City, homes were rebuilt after various aid groups steeped in to provide better materials for rebuilding. The mosque reopened for worship, after fixing various damages, people who were staying in the city moved back to their villages to find what remained. Train service began running again through the valley, after some fixes. DOT teams came in and began filling in the roads that had been damaged by war and the road slowly opened up.

In Provincetown outside the hotel, a memorial was put in place in the main square, with the names of the dead. The hotel also rebuilt some of the damage from the attack and was now reopening. Up in Kaijan City, the airport was no functional after some bridge and road repairs. And flights began coming in again.

In New Liverpool, in the embassy district, everyone was getting back to work, after some repairs inside the embassy, as well as some security measures in the area. Across town, the new president and new house were being sworn in at a ceremony at the Capitol Building. In San Fernando, those who have involved in the various cases were honored with a memorial with their names carved into it, and those involved received various awards and promotions.

In Eria, the investigation was concluded, and all information found was sent to the Slokaisian government. The building was commissioned to be rebuilt, and the area was reopened.

Although the Kaijan League was out there in the mountains, for now, Slokais was a nation rebuilding, The United Front was still out there yet for now there was once again peace. For now, the Third Kaijan War was over.

Credits: Thanks to everyone for being involved in the roleplay, To those who participated, you made the story so much better, for now, this story is over, though the Kaijan League may be back. I have now storylines that are heating up, Gangs of New Liverpool and Mallacalnd Rising- Slokais Islands

Robert Ahmad walked into Red Bear Arms+Guns, As the store was in Kaijan it was one of the few areas where recreational weapons, could be bought until last year people from all over the country came to this store. However a new law only allowed locals to buy weapons, so many people in the store were locals, mostly new clients as because of the recent war, many were afraid that conflict would rise up again. However Robert Ahamad was not here to buy a gun, he was going to work. Robert Ahamad was working for the SIBI to investigate Red Bear arms, which has gone through an ownership change.
Because of the new all-kaijan ownership, his higherups were worried that the weapons supplier was giving weapons to the Kaijan League, In a back room, he noticed the store owner talking to a man in a black shirt and grey pants and army style boots.
"Hello," he said
"Oh, Hello Mr. Ahamad," he said
"Who are you talking to"
"Oh, just a new buyer"
The man nodded his head and walked across the warehouse and out the door
"Alright, how have sales been?" he asked
"Well, was just working a deal with salesmen in the import, export field"
"Oh, were going worldwide, then?" he said
"Yes, it's going to grow our brand"

A few hours he noticed his boss talking again with the buyer, he hid behind a crate across the warehouse
"I would be glad to give you 25% for the cause"
"Good, I just talked with the higherups"
"Normally we would sell it to you for 40,000 marks, but since it's for the betterment of Kaijan, I can give it to you for 10,000"
"Deal," the man said
"All, I need is you to start a war, its good for my business"
"We are close once again inshallah"
"Good"
At the moment Robert Ahamad grabbed his gun and stood up "stop right there" he said
"Stand down, boy," said his boss
"How much did you hear," the buyer said
"Enough to arrest you," he said
However, the buyers gun was drawn
The two of them pointed their guns at each other, however, at that moment another employee came up from behind Robert and slammed his head into a box knocking him out cold.
"Good, work," the boss said
"Make sure he does not remember this conversation," the buyer said
"Alright, I will make sure of it"
"Oh, and make it look like someone else"
Got it"
The boss walked out, and the buyer called out to him
"Even better make it look the United Front"
"It will be done sir"

The basement of a Princeton Apartment was covered in alt-right posters as well as bookcases full of a library of far-right and nationalist media as well as many issues of The Silent Front magazine that was distributed from a building further up into the mountains.
"Brothers, we must stay vigilant the Feds are on us even harder than before," said a man in a red t-shirt and bulletproof armor
"The Feds are onto us once again," said another man
The door to the basement opened and in came Repsentive John Woods, one of the biggest United Front suporters
"I can lead them away if I can"
"Good, we need more time before we ready to rise"
"Our numbers are growing every day we have more and more brother joining us every day"
"As the great Alexander Liu said "We shall challenge the authority to trial by fire and combat"
"Amen, brother"
"Do you have the weapons"
"Yes, I was coming here to have a plan of action"
"What plan is that"
"We shall split into groups when we take the campus, I will ask PDOT to begin construction work on S-16 to slow down govermeant response"
"There are many Antifa, how shall we fight them"
"Our goal is to hold it long enough that we shall gain funds and support from our brothers around the world"
At that moment there was a knock on the door
"SIBI we have a warrant open up"
At that moment Repersentive Woods ran for his gun
Then the door came open and a gunfight began
Representative Woods quickly fled out a back window, not before killing one of the first officers that came through the door. The 3 of them inside managed to escape, however, they only escaped just in time as they fled in an unmarked truck. The truck then sped onto the offroad trails and lost the SIBI in the maze of woods. The truck came to a stop and the group escaped into a hidden room with no light
"Did they leave yet"
"Wait a few minutes and they will move on"

Sean Khan arrived at the SIBI faculty in Southland, As the vice-president, he did a lot of national security work, and he knew many at the SIBI very well. He looked at the room where the evidence from the recent raid was held, in bags were many papers and manuscripts, as well as a few weapon parts, but it looked as if they could not find any info.
"Sir we have some video to show you"
"Go, ahead"
On the screen on the wall video of the raid was shown, then it zoomed on a one-person running
"See that badge"
"Yes, it looks like Capitol ID"
"Yes, there is a traitor that is working with the United Front"
"They are Among us," he said
"From his hair and height, we have gathered a list of 30 govermeant employees, we will bring them in for questions soon"
"Good, keep me updated, just dont tell the public they should no know that some within the govermeant are working for a terrorist organization"

Upstairs in the security room, an officer stood by watching the cameras, it was a quiet day then another officer walked in
"Hello, everything looks good so far
The other officer lunged at him, then the lights in the room cut out, and the backup lights came up.
In the red glow of the room, someone else entered the room
"Okay, there are 3 people in this room," said the original officer
"We're not working together," said the 3rd person, their voice sounded female
"Well, if you could just give me the data," said the 2nd office to the 1st officer
The 3rd person then came behind the 2nd person and slammed his head into the dashboard
"Step back," she said
"Never," he said as he lunged at her, however, she grabbed his arm and that pushed it back into his socket knocking him back into a bookcase, that promptly fell on him
"Clean up your mess," she said as he grabbed her flash drive and grabbed all the security footage
She then ran back out, when a group of officer ran by she pretended like she was just attacked
"There is a guy in there, we got him but my co-worker is injured," she said
"Dont worry," the officer said

For those who knew her, Emily Walsh was a smart woman, who had a dark and vicious side and often hated her male co-workers.
At her home in the gated community of Northrock Hills, she was an outcast by her traditional neighbors who found her strange for being so liberally minded.

To her, her neighbors were all a bunch of idiots who propped up the matriarchy and never used their power for their true goals. If any of her male neighbors took the wrong step she would smash their head, which would usually back off after that. Being from Kerille she was born a strong believer in the patriarchy as an Aurora, she was trained to carry out her mission, however since the agency collapsed her mission now was to make money, and slowly gain more and more power. She had taken a job at the SIBI to get inside the inner circle of govermeant information. She was now going to take the security footage and sell it for the highest bidder to those who wanted it.

She looked through the footage on her computer and noticed something in Sean Khan's hand, a phone she zoomed in and watched as he entered the password on his phone. She then saw the digits: 589008.
"Good," she said
She could now sell that as well for the highest bidder, she then checked the bidding war it was an account linked to Princeton Province and one from Southern Kaijan, even a bid from Xiomera. Once again the two terror groups were fighting with each other. However she knew the Kaijan League had much more money, they owned many sources of revenue, the United Front was just some alt-right idiots with rich backers like Micheal Spencer. She still could not believe the nobody has found out Micheal Spencer, if the time came where she was arrested she could give them that info and they probably let her go.

Then, the Kaijan League dropped a bid of $10 million marks, there was no response from the United Front and the bid ended.
She then was sent a message from the buyer
"Meet me at 2217 34th St, New Liverpool"
"Good, we shall meet soon"

2217 34th St was a repair store, Emily Walsh walked inside looking for the buyer
"Can, I help you?" said the man behind the counter
"I am meeting with a friend here soon"
"You have the footage," he asked
"The whole thing," she said
"Come with me," he said as headed into a backroom

The Backroom was filled with boxes and crates, and then around the corner a door
"Though here," he said
Then the door opened and a group of 5 people sat around all sitting in front of computers
"Here it is," she said as he handed over a flash drive
A man in gloves grabbed the flash drive and plugged it into a computer, and the application window appeared and was scanned by the computer's security system, Within the flash drive was over 40 videos almost 24 hours long.
"Looks good," he said
The man in a grey shirt stood up and looked closer at the screen
"That's why we need," he said, he then pulled out his gun "Give us everything you have"
Emily then pulled out her gun and pointed it and the computer monitor
"If you kill me you dont get the data," she said
"We can get you $20,000 markons and you can walk away," he said
"I will need more"
"No, that's final take it or die, also give us the password to Sean Khans and we can get you another $15,000 and if you tell the police your dead," he said
"Fine, this never happened, I will take $20,000 markons," she said
"Lead her out," he said

John Woods called his boss, Micheal Spencer while he was in the bathroom and a coffee shop in Princeton
"Valicom, here," Micheal Spencer said
"It, Woods, let me in" he said
"There are close to finding you out you must stay strong"
"Are you slowing them down?" he asked
"Yes, I delayed the investigation a bit as I failed to show for the meeting on it today"
There was a loud pound on the door of the bathroom "They found me" he said as he hung up
Then he tried to stuff the phone into the toilet, he then flushed and climbed into the air vent as the Police unlocked the door. The Repsentive slipped into the vent just as they saw him go up into it. However his wallet fell onto the ground in his escape, an officer picked up the wallet and looked inside, and saw the credit card with his name.
"Well we know who we're looking for" she said

John Woods sat in the back of a police vehicle after being turning himself in after a long chase through the mountains of Princeton Province. They had surrounded his car on a remote mountain road, and he been forced out of his car, know he was sitting in the back of a police car handcuffed. The police car was headed back down the mountain where he would be held in jail until he was moved to New Liverpool for his treason hearing.

The police car ran into some traffic caused by construction, the officer in front talked to another officer in another car.
"What is this construction," he asked
"I dont know, this was not here a few hours ago"
"Tell PDOT, we have a prisoner in transit, we could be venerable to recapture"
at that moment gunfire erupted from across the road.
The officer ran out, and joined a police line fighting a group of masked people with guns, they had come from a pickup truck, then the officer saw the black flag flying on the back of the truck. "It is the Kaijan League we need backup"
"Got, it sending backup your way" said the dispatcher
John Woods ducked down in the back seat as bullets flew all around the car, then the door opened, and one of Kaijan League members grabbed the representative by his jacket and pulled him out. Then from behind him an officer tackled him then handcuffed him. Across the road, the truck fled off into the woods.

Back at their computer setup, the Kaijan League was hard at work putting the security tape to good use, they had already so much intel, that could rob the SIBI Building tomorrow if they wanted to. They had been trying to remote access Sean Khan's phone, there was also a worry that if they remoted accessed it Sean Khan would know, so they would have to be fast.
"From this campaign picture, we can see he has a Vinix 9 phone," said one of the younger experts
"Hold, on we can see his phone provider is Slokais Telecom," said an older man who they had paid to help them
"Alright, going to put in his phone code into the Telecom website"
"Make, sure you act, he should get a phone reminder once we remote access it"
"I am in going for his payment accounts and his messages"
"Be quick"
"It is asking for his payment info"
"I can the guy we have at Bank of Slokais and tell him to get on it, and make sure to pay him"

At the Bank of Slokais headquarters, the database of accounts was accessed from the inside, the person who they had hired was going quickly getting into the govermeant account database, then he saw Sean Khans full bank info, however as soon as the account was accessed the computer shut off, however the information was still able to be gathered.
"Alright, I am in his account transferring to another govermeant account"
However they did not Sean Khan was aware that his phone was being accessed, and know the SIBI was already watching the transaction and was waiting for the criminals to reveal any info.
"Alright, now to get into the emails"
"Click that one regarding Anti-Terror projects"
"Alright, responding with the link to the malware"
At that moment the owner of the store ran in, "The feds are here"
The whole group ran out into a hallway that connected the store rooms of the stores along the street, they had closed everything on the computer and ran with everything they could grab.

The rebuilding efforts had been going on for months by the time Mohamed Namer came home, he had joined the Kaijan League and was coming home for the first time since he left the town of Hasmala. He left in October just a few weeks before the attack of the Kaijan City Airport, since then he trained then fought for the Kaijan League. However, he was one of those captured during a small raid on an outpost in Early December. He then was sentenced and spent 3 months in jail, and for the next year, he would have to do community service hours. However, for now, he could go home he unlocked the door to his family home.

Inside he mother was making bread while his father the local emir for the small mosque nearby sat at the kitchen table working on various papers.
"There you are Mohamed," his mother said
"Son, I dont know what I should do, welcome you home or ask to never come back," he said
"I just ask for forgiveness from you, I made a severe and prolonged lapse in my judgment"
"Dont, fool with me son, I know when your lying"
"Can I stay?" he asked
"Until you get a job, then you're on your own, inshallah," his father said
"Thank you, father"
Across the street, at the post office, a crowd had gathered, except nobody was returning alive, rather 2 men who had left and died in the war, however for different sides. The one who a police officer would be taken back and be buried at a site in Kaijan City where other officers were also being put to rest.

However, the young man who fought for the Kaijan League would be buried in the town graveyard among the various dead over the years. The prayers began before the body would be moved to the burial site and be buried by his family and then flowers would then scatter over the grave and then rose water be poured over the grave. However as well the body of the police officer would be viewed the moved away as a memorial to the officer was built out of flowers and put next to the house of his family. Two dead men both coming home yet they fought for different sides and would be laid to rest in different places.

John Woods stepped out of the police car in front of the capitol, from across the street media and police stood as he was escorted inside by police. They went inside a side door of the capitol entrance building, soon they were in the underground tunnels to the committee rooms. First, he would speak before a group of reps spilt between the political parties, later he would be brought up the house floor, where they would be more questions, then finally a vote by all 402 Reps. If they voted yes, he would be guilty then go to the supreme court of Slokais where his punishment would be laid out, or if all 5 of the 9 said he should not be convicted. Then he would walk away with just being banned from running for any govermeant office.

The committee was made up of 7 people or one for every 57 reps within the house. If a party had more than 40 reps they could pick someone.

Havier-Walls Franandez: S-Victoria The rep for Socialist/Green as well as the other smaller parties. He is a Socialist and would likely want the worst punishment out of all of them, as he was involved in the 1997 United Front riots.

Emily Liu: NA-Dolphin Island. 1 of the 3 reps for the National Alliance, likely to vote for treason and brought in to grill John Woods as she is known for often winning debates with other reps.

Augusto de la Paz: NA-New Liverpool. 1 of the 3 reps for the National Alliance, likely to vote for treason was brought in to question John Woods, as he was a prosecutor

Dr. Martha Gold: NA-San Fernando South: 1 of the 3 reps for the National Alliance, likely to vote for treason. She has a doctorate in political law and will be an expert on the laws around treason

Micheal Spencer NR-Princeton. The only New Right, even though his party only has 40 seats, yet some in the conservative party voted for him to represent them. He would likely vote no for treason as he has said, John Woods learned his lesson.

Joseph Zhang C-Silverado The rep for the Centrist Party, there is a chance he could vote for or against, He is the Minority PM

George Oliver CS-Point Lee. The rep for the remaining reps within the opposition govermeant. He will vote for or against, as has a somewhat beef with the New Right, who ate away at the Conservative Party.

There were many questions for John Woods, however, at the end of the first day, it looked bad for John Woods and his team as Martha Gold, he would be the most likely on the Govermeant bloc to vote against, seemed ready to vote for John Woods treason.

John Woods entered the meeting room once again, this time for the committee to vote on his charges of treason.
"We shall vote by each rep within this room," said Dr. Martha Gold
"Can I give my final argument?" he asked
"Yes, Mr. Woods you may give your final argument"
"The charges against me are not correct, what I have done is not treason but rather a mistake on my part, once again I was forced by United Front to work with them, and soon I was part of them. They forced me to use my resources to help them. And then when I escaped I was afraid of what the government, would do to me, that is why I ran from them. After I decided that enough was enough Kaijan League tried to capture me as they were paid by the United Front to recapture me. That is why you should not convict me of treason, I am the victim here, please forgive me.
"Thank you, Mr. Woods, Mr. Franandez shall now give his final argument"
"What you just said was straight lies, for one you have had past interactions with them for many years, and there were times where you could have easily escaped if you wanted to. Your attempt to portray yourself as a victim just disrespects all the people who have been victims of the United Front, I urge all of you to vote for treason against this man, Thank You.
"We shall start the process of voting," Dr. Gold said
"Mr. Oliver," she asked
"Yes"
Mr. Spencer"
"No"
"Mr. La Paz"
"Yes
"Ms. Liu
"Yes
"Mr. Franandez"
"Yes"
"Then I shall vote Yes"
"Finally, Mr. Zhang"
"No"
She then paused,Well, this motion passes on to the house"

The debate in the House had been going on for 2 days almost, with the New Right and some Centrists and Conservatives also trying to argue against treason, with the New Right Party actively trying to slow down committee with often stupid points of order. And often going over the speaking time, slowing down proceedings even if it only wasted 20 seconds was their main goal. Joseph Zhang has been getting attacked from within his own party over the vote against treason while it was in committee. Rumors were that the Centrist Party may rename itself as the party was getting further away from actual centrism. Many within the Conservatives were calling for a vote to remove George Oliver as party leader after he voted for treason against John Woods.
Micheal Spencer was now stagging an endless speech as they had gotten enougth votes, (1/3 by the way) to keep the debate going longer. He was now reading from the House Rules, as it was technically related to what was being debated.

"Rule 89.78, No House Rep shall buy war bonds during their membership as a House Rep"
John Woods sat at the stand looking bored out of his mind, Joseph Chavez just rocked back and forth in his chair, waiting for Micheal Spencer to stop.
He turned to Prime Minister Ahmad "Don't worry, he is almost done"
"I am bored out of mind, as soon as he finishes I can start the voting process"
"He did this a few years ago, except it was a gun debate so he started reading a 400-page gun buyers guide, he actually almost fell asleep, and had to stop"
"Well, he is on Rule 90 so, he should be done in a second"
"Thank, you I yield my time to the chair," he said as he put the house rules book down
"Thank you," Prime Minister Ahmad said, she paused for a moment
"We shall now start voting on the matter of Treason for John Woods"

A decade ago, after a fight happened where reps trying to bring there ballots in were blocked by reps trying to stop the votes from being counted, electronic vote buttons were put at every seat within the House Chamber so that the vote could not be delayed. Now votes took a few minutes within the results being counted by a clerk then brought up to the Prime Minister.
A few minutes passed and the clerk came up with the results
"With, 4 Not-Voting, 101 No Votes, and 297 Yes Votes, John Woods is hereby removed from the House, and shall no longer be able to tun for public office"
The crowd clapped as many Reps packed up their stuff, it had been a long 2 days and everyone just wanted to go home.

A red pickup truck pulled into a SUN Mart the driver parked the car at the gas pumps out front and went inside. He then looked through the store grabbing some snacks as well as some interesting things such as a bunch of fertilizer and a lot of tape and medical equipment as well as some vodka.
"Can see some ID for that vodka" the clerk said
"Sure," the man said as he reached into his pocket, except he pulled out a knife and held it to the clerk's neck.
"Easy, now i can get you the money"
"I don't want the money, turn off the security camera and cut the phone line"
"What?"
"Do as I say" he said as he pulled out a hunting rifle
"Yes, sir," the clerk said as he did some stuff behind the counter

At that moment some more cars came in, most flying flags and banners
"Looks, like the rest have arrived"
A few got out of their vehicles and blocked the road, then the door opened and more people came in guns drawn, they went around grabbing various things mainly supplies that could be used as weapons.
"You are the united front," the clerk said
"Yes, indeed the man said as some of his buddies grabbed the clerk and tied him to a chair, and then moved him into the back room.
"Have we secured the area?" said a man in grey camo with combat boots and a rifle by his side
"Yes, we can soon start moving into the tunnel"
Behind the store was a bunch of overgrown weeds and bushes, they were quickly cut through, and showed what was under them,
a ladder leading down into a dark room.
A few began to lower themselves down into the room as more came back with various supplies.
"Were all here?" he said
"Yes, we are," said the man in the grey camo.

The darkroom was actually a maintenance room, with rusting machines and stacks of broken chairs. A lamp had been set up it and was illuminating a group of people emptying the bottles and mixing a explosive formula inside. This whole area had once been built as a back bucker in the late 60s by Juan Costa former leader of Slokais as he feared attack from other nations. Overall this underground building was to house government employees in the event of a war, it also was connected to a large number of tunnels that led into the basements of buildings. Soon the tunnels and this bunker would be put to good use by the United Front, it also connected to UNL Princeton a university that would be the target for the United Front later on.

Many moved around the hallways looking for a control room of some sort to restart power. Then in a large central room then found the controls, next to a large deck with a dried-up red carpet.
"Looks like this where Juan Costa would run things from," a man said as he started the generator. It shut and sputtered for a moment then it came on.
