I just wanted to say that I'm really pleased to see the support for this resolution by the UN member nations of the region. The resolution is well thought out, well written, and strikes an appropriate and necessary balance between the proper expectation of privacy during the most intimate and personal of human activities and those exceptional instances in which the welfare of the individuals involved or the public at large demands that government be able to impinge upon that privacy.
Of course, since Stolidia isn't a member of the UN, whether this passes or not doesn't mean a hill of beans to us. But we do tend to conform our national law to UN resolutions (unless they're really stupid). It's nice to see a really good one looking like it's going to be passed.
