A Resolution for a Safer Way to Transport Hazardous Materials by Train
The United Nations,
DISTURBED by the chance of a horrible disaster involving hazardous materials,
NOTING that if a train carrying hazardous materials were to crash it could kill entire cities and make the land not livable for years,
NOTING that people the hazardous materials don?t kill but come in contact with could leave them horribly deformed,
NOTING hazardous materials on trains could be used to make nuclear or biological weapons if they fall into the wrong hands,
1. REQUIRES all nations to increase security around trains carrying hazardous materials,
2. URGES nations to transport these materials during the night to decrease maximum exposure,
3. MANDATES these trains carrying hazardous materials to travel at a slower speed then required,
4. STRONGLY URGES nations to require better Hydraulic Brakes for trains carrying hazardous materials.
