Malabrian Government Announces its Intention to Join Sister City Program
The following are cities that have applied with the appropriate authorities and are available to be paired with another city
:
Mishba District
Mishba District, home to two million people, is a large metropolis located in the eastern area of Malabra that is its own subdivision and its own city. It is located on the Quicak peninsula and near an as-of-yet unnamed ocean. It is famous for its prestine beaches, coastal wildlife, culture, and national landmarks. It is the Capitol of the Constitutional Monarchy of Malabra and is home to the Supreme Court, National Archives, Royal Family's Palace, and Parliament. The economy is mostly dominated by tourism, but it has a large fishing industry. The city has historical roots, as it was constructed as the Capitol once Malabra recieved its independence. Since it was a planned city, it benefits from the way it is layed out. The city is only almost two years old.
Yoasameaa
Yoasameaa, home to only a half million people, is located in the Yoasae province. It is the capital of the province and enjoys a proximity to Libertad River, which also flows briefly into Sober Thought. The river provides a small portion of the Sober Thought-Malabra border. This city is famous for its forestry industry, but not much else. However, it does have a significant amount of the population being of Sober Thoughtian ancestory. It is said that they traveled up the river from their native lands back when Malabra was under the dictatorships. No one is sure why they'd actually want to go to Malabra, though. Regardless, the citizens of Yasameaa are very intelligent, resourceful, and most of all, very liberal. This city is very old, dating back to when it was just a village in the 1700's.
