@Gnejs: Maybe Hampmouth on Sea is a suitable candidate - it is also a city with a great harbour.
@Everyone. Saidercray is going to participate in this program. Here are short descriptions of the most important cities:
Amshlay
Amshlay is Saidercray's biggest city (7 million inhabitants) and the capital of the country. Amshlay is situated in the west of Saidercray in an extensive valley at the edge of the mountains. The city has been built up around Lake Amshlay, where the old town lifts upon steeply ascending Amshlay Island.
Amshlay is sometimes called "The Onion of Time" due to the structure of the town. Amshlay has developped annularly, so that it is subdivided into the medieval old town on the island, a ring of renaissance and baroque buildings at the shores of the lake, another ring of Gr?nderzeit buildings and a last ring of modern suburbs with their skyscrapers. The structure results out of an old legend due to which the keep of the castle Dragon's Sun has to be the central point of the town (though nowadays the actual center is 1,200 metres away from the keep inside a post office).
Amshlay is the hometown of the Smoking Dragon, a smoke-dried Saidercrayan ham.
Amshlay has an NSwiki article.
Descpriptions of Hampmouth, Dawsingham and Aresgreel will follow.
