I'm righ there with ya Kees. Being 37 we were tought the metric system as kids and were supposed to be the first generation that changed over. I'm not sure whether our parents failed or we did - maybe a combination. Regardless, I think this to be someone's vain attempt to do in NS what the USA did in real life: show unnecessary individualism at the expense of the worldwide community.

My final word on the subject: In Star Trek they measure in Metric! Enough said.
