I tend to support maybe a small river that is the source of the name of all others (like, Thoris(fluss (or -flu? if you don't support the Rechtschreibreform) ) => Thoristal, Thorisstadt and Thoris 
)
And too bad there's this whole huge ocean, for Baranxtuan cattails surely'd have such beautiful names like Majjaγη, Aki?a or Irjatemiβarη, all so full of Happy Fun Special Characters ™
And one somewhat off topic comment and one totally superfluous... thing:
