And the FBNCE switches back to its news headquarters, where Zumbala Entrama and Hikomi Nemandi have led the anglophone Baranxtuan public through the evening.
Zumbala is the first to speak: "Now, that's a surprising result!"
Hikomi continues: "The LJP receives not only the plurality of votes, but also an absolute majority!"
Zumbala: "Let's take a look at this years results and compare it with the 2004 elections."

Zumbala: "The RPP has been reduced to less than two thirds of their 2004 results, losing 126 seats, or 34.05 percent of their seats.
On the other hand, the LJP is obviously the big winner of this evening - winning an additional 247 seats, or 68.8 percent!
However, the biggest loser is the NPR. They lose over 80 percent of their seats, and are reduced from 77 to 13. This desastrous result could be seen as the culmination of the recent losses in the provincial elections of 2005 and 2006.
The SUP is the only other winner this year, slightly increasing their percentage and gaining an additional 11 seats.
TAE also lost more than a quarter of their seats, failing to regain their 180 seats from last year.
The CPHT was halved; apparently, this means that for the first time in I think over a century the majority of Abasina's districts are not delivered to the CP.
Finally, the independents lost one seat, but are nevertheless the most steady of all parties."
Hikomi plays with a few buttons, and then continues. "Now let's take a look at this year's actual distribution of seats."

Hikomi: "It's really astonishing - if the LJP would enter a coalition with the RPP again, they would have the supermajority needed to change the constitution. If they would enter a coalition with the SUP and only one independent candidate, the same would apply."
Zumbala: "Fascinating! But now, let's see if it has already been calculated which party will get which district now.
...
Yes, apparently, we can get a map right now!"
(Click me!)
Hikomi: "Yes, you were right! The CPHT lost three districts to the SUP! Also, the LJP has gained basically in every province, but especially in North Neila and in all urban areas. Except for some cities in Qiru and a few districts of Siragge and Deioprajji Make and the TAE strongholds in the north, I cannot see any big city that didn't vote for the LJP."
Zumbala: "We will continue with our program shortly, but first, we'll see what else has happened today."
