The Baranxtuan office has seen to it that a giant screen has been put in place, on which the live broadcast by the FBNCE (First Baranxtuan National Channel - English) can be projected.

Finally, Izandra Empara, National Election Supervisor, appears on the screen. With a serious voice, she begins talking:
"And now, dear ladies and gentlemen, I am here to announce the official final result of the Baranxtuan legislative elections of 2006.
1,561,296,288 people were legally entitled to vote, of which 1,354,424,530 - or 86.75 per cent - cast their vote. Of these, 1,336,139,799 - or 98.65 per cent - were valid.
Now, for the votes cast for each party:
The Republican People's Party received 271,299,710 votes, or 20.30 per cent of all valid votes. Therefore, they will receive 244 out of the 1202 seats of parliament.
The Liberty and Justice Party received 673.627.885 votes, or 50.42 per cent of all valid votes. Therefore, they will receive 606 out of the 1202 seats of parliament.
The National Party of the Republic received 14.450.763 votes, or 1.08 per cent of all valid votes. Therefore, they will receive 13 out of the 1202 seats of parliament.
The Spiritual Union Party received 207.868.671 votes, or 15.56 per cent of all valid votes. Therefore, they will receive 187 out of the 1202 seats of parliament.
Tradition and Economy received 144.507.632 votes, or 10.82 per cent of all valid votes. Therefore, they will receive 130 out of the 1202 seats of parliament.
The Conservative Party of Our Holy Traditions received 3.334.792 votes, or 0.25 per cent of all valid votes. Therefore, they will receive 3 out of the 1202 seats of parliament.
The Union of Independant Candidates received 21.120.346 votes, or 1.58 per cent of all valid votes. Therefore, they will receive 19 out of the 1202 seats of parliament.
