Deveraux is one of just two Brissicans on this national team, due to a general boycott by players from the autonomous region in the south of Kolda. Deveraux, who is of mixed Brissican, Koldan and Slokasian ancestry had a singular bench appearance for Slokais Islands in 2019 before switching nationalities officially in 2025 and despite attempts from the independent Brissican national team to have him play for them.

Setye is a defensive standout from the 15-time champions of Kolda, CF Guediawaye. He plays well out of the back and can easily relieve attacking pressure for his teammates. Critics may call him out as the son of his club’s current owner, yet few can deny his ability and consistency at both club and international level.

Noba is a unique choice as just 2 year’s he was playing amateur football for a local electricians union squad. Yet he impressed in the 2025 Republic Cup and was a strong force who impressed scouts at Tiovaune Warriors to give him a contract. In his first full season of professional football, he has made strong defensive contributions as well as an incredible work rate to help Tiovaune Warriors to a top-3 finish for the first time in club history.
LWB: Jordan Thibault|Age 21|San Fernando United
Born in Kolda but raised in Brissiac, Thibault was adopted by a prominent Saint Paul family allowing him to have the resources to try out for several well-regarded academies. Thibault is quick with the ball and able to slip into open space and launch attacks and counter-attacks, and asset which led him to a contract with San Fernando United in Slokais. He is considered one of the best young products in the diaspora, and if he can turn his quick speed and skill into goals, he could become a star for Kolda.
CDM: Saul Cassiongiop|Age 30| CF Guediawaye
Saul is a star for his hometown, CF Guediawaye and has been a consistent national team fixture. From a rural farming community, he is a product of a national talent program developed in 2015 as part of the government’s “patriotic push” towards sporting success. He is a hardworking and humble player, despite being the Koldan League’s MVP the last two seasons. Cassiongiop is not the fastest player, but he always seems to be right in action and right where you need him.

Assista’s village was destroyed in the 2009 Coup, leaving his family to claim refugee status in Slokais Islands. He was quickly identified for his talent by Southland Athletics’ well-regarded low-cost academy before being sold to Northrock United in 2024. Since then he was been given a starting role for Northrock and is known for his signature finish and his ability to score from outside the box. He is considered the main man for club and country as the free-kick taker and set-piece convertor.
RWB: Antonie Adebayor|Age 28| Weston Road Wolves
Adebayor is considered the new hope for Kolda, as for years, he refused to be called up due to his political opposition. However, his tune has changed thanks to the support from those in Kolda. Adebayor is bold for his fun-loving nature and general lack of care for journalists and the press. Yet he backs it all up with his skill and surprising strength as well as a consistent goalscoring record. If there is to be a scandal with this team, of a man to blame, the blame will likely be on him, yet in the end any true fan of the game recognizes his skill.
ST: Demba Magassa|Age 32|CF Guediawaye
Magassa has been the main man for Kolda upfront for several years. However, a recent dip in quality, which was widely picked up on by the domestic press, has given some pause. Yet there is hope at the national level and with the right support Magassa can return to the form of his mid-20s where he was a consistent targetman striker in the domestic league. Partly due to his loyalty and connections in the federation, Magassa is starting.
ST: Coumba Martinez-Ndaw|Age 19| New Liverpool FC
Martinez-Ndaw is the great hope for Koldan football. Born in New Liverpool to a Slokaisan father and a Koldan mother, he was scouted early and was plucked from the U-21s. He is well-regarded for pace and technical ability and shooting and shows heaps of potential growth. Martinez-Ndaw is a goal-scoring machine with several hat-tricks to his name on loan at Slokaisian L2 side, East Bank FC. Starting someone so young may be a risk, although the reward may be very high, as he impressed as a bench player for New Liverpool FC last season.
GK: Promise Isiop-Ka |Age 30| Athletic Club Lennes
Isiop Ka is Kolda’s best goalkeeping option from a pool of players that may lack in the quality of some other countries. There are others such as Joseph Barrenga, the young brother of Slokaisan international, David Barrenga who could possibly start yet Isiop-Ka has the national team experience. Isiop-Ka is a safe keeper in that he usually prefers a clean two hands over a simple one hand; he makes up for it by being the eyes for his backline acting almost as a coach on set-piece or corner situations. He is also a devout member of Diawara movement, a political and religious group that practices a form of traditional spirit worship combined with Revivalist Christian teachings.
