Well, the repeal effort came up a little short, but I think that the tide is starting to turn against LAE and her like-minded ilk.
I know that the IDU has been very supportive of my efforts to repeal this resolution, and I would like everyone's help again as I learn the lessons of my test run and make plans for resubmission.
I believe that, thanks to a vigorous TG campaign, the UN is starting to wake up to the fact that the group led by LAE is attempting to usurp the noble functions of the UN to socially engineer an outcome where national sovereignty plays second fiddle to a world body that constantly intrudes into the realm of domestic jurisdiction. This has to nipped in the bud before it becomes a serious problem.
Without overstating the case, anyone who has seen the recent rash of LAE co-written/sponsored resolutions will be cognizant of an agenda at play. I humbly ask the IDU to use its clout to stymie these efforts, and help the UN refocus its limited resources to the cause of humanitarian and peace initiatives.
